When I was playing in a professional orchestra (aren't I cool!) we played a suite from Lord of the Rings.

It was epic.
And this is a great suite by Johan de Meij. It actually got me into reading the book.

My favorite is Jupiter (Gustav Holst), but there are too many fun ones to choose from.
