Unreal Tournament - I was playing it more than full version games I had at the time, so I bought the full version.

I've also had a lot of fun with Gran Turismo HD Concept, Mina No Golf 5, Fatal Inertia EX and Siren: Blood Curse demos.

For me it was either the Lost Planet 2 demo, or Castle Crashers!
Castle Crashers was one of the best XBL demos i ever played... even though i never got around to buying the full version.

I enjoyed the infamous demo so much, that I preorder the game after the second time I played the demo (and was completely uninterested before the demo).

Special menctions goes to Brutal Legend, for being a completely different experience as a demo than as a full game; and Burnout Paradise, which I dislike the demo so much I missed the game for years, only to buy it bargain and loved it more than any other racing game before it.

Lost Planet 2 is also a good demo indeed. I just teamed up with 3 friends on PSN.

Still didn't buy the game .

Either the Darksiders demo, or the God Of War 3 Demo.

I replayed the Darksiders demo twice (because it was so damn long.), and the GOW 3 demo countless times.

Probably Mirror's Edge. I played that demo so many times, it was a lot of fun.

This should be pretty obvious.

For me it is Resident Evil 5. I played it Co-op with a friend who never played on the PS3 before. Because we were both new at the game we had alot of fun making up tactics about who has to go where and setting up meeting points to switch ammo.

Though i never bought the game..
When I saw the name of this thread I actually thought of RE5 as well. My sister and I were the same. I recall us being terrible :p
I did end up getting RE5 though, and it's up as one of my favourite games

Supreme Commander 2 Demo. made me buy the game right after. Thanks Steam.

im a RTS fanboy and that demo was so comprehensive! They almost let you play with a single race's entire tech tree! was very much pleasantly surprised.

the other one would be R.U.S.E. tho sadly i'm not buying that game, i just refuse to buy UBISOFT for PC.

We weren't very good either but in the end we finished both missions :p
Defenitly on the second mission. I first didn't know i had to give sniper support so we both died miserably xD (building jump part)

The heroes of might and magic 2 demo. One map (Broken alliance) with 3 possible player positions, no holds barred action. The demo had almost everything and no restrictions. Played that level again and again, amazing replay-ability.

I've only played a few demos in my time, but the most fun I had with one was in a Toys-R-Us on their XBox demos where there were a bunch of games to choose from to test. It was Kung Fu Chaos. This was many years ago mind you, but I still find some of the inappropriate humor funny today.

It's either Just Cause 2 or Red Faction: Guerilla.

Sadly, both demos were actually much, much better than the actual games.
Yeah... I was gonna say Just Cause 2... Because that demo is Awesome... And like most awesome demos, its so good I don't think I'll bother buying the full game... I almost would for the world becuase it looks huge, varied and beutiful... But I don't think I'll pick it up until I see it for really cheap if at all.

The inFamous Demo was amazing too and actually led me to buy the game solely based on the demo. I had heard it was great and it really looked like my kinda game but the demo jhust entirely confirmed those feelings...

The Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Sqaudron demo for the PSP was also an excellent demo... Its one of those awesome demos that are just as good as the full game...
