Hey folks,
Before I go on about anything else, I'd like to say this first: I deeply respect not only The Escapist, but the De-Rez folks too and especially Chris Slack. Their work is quite fantastic and while not always being the top-notch humour on the internet, does it's purpose and gets a few laughs more often than not.
This was especially true with the new TF2 video they released - a nice spoof of a game that I love and am addicted to severely to the point that I get nightmares about spies sappin' mah PC and eating mah sandviches :< X(
However, the video was...well, despite mad props to the ending and the yellow team bit, there were boring bits to it and the voice acting was waay, way off. Rather than complain about it and not do anything though, I had a brief, funny thought.
What if the voices were all from TF2? Having access to the tools necessary and after a full afternoon/evening of work, the result of much mad contemplating can be found here:
Derez TF2 - now with more Sentry Sappin'! [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvvT0HkJY5o]
Is it an improvement on the original or is it worse? Well, I honestly don't care either way - I dont want to rip off the Derez guys or copy them or what not. This was a bit of fun to make and do - just hope you folks have as much fun watching it
