ok so my pc is by no means capable of running the game but i do own all the consoles what id like to know is is it worth buying for a console?

Please keep the elitism and bashing to a minimum as id like an answer.
My brother has it on console and it seems pretty decent. I prefer PC's for RPG's, but if your computer can't handle it the console version looks fine.

From what I've seen of the PS3 version, it looks fine. I still got it on PC, and my poor laptop struggles at times, but that's mostly because I like the convenience of the PC, and I don't have my PS3 in college.

Buying? Maaaaaybe.
Its a story game. Its decently long, and it has a fair replay value.

But to me, its not worth buying, because its a story game. Rent it twice, maybe even 3 times. Run through it all you like. But at the end of the day, a story game will almost always be a story game. Theres only so many ways it can end, and only so many ways to get there.

I personally would have bought it if other games werent higher on my list. (The Skyrim collectors edition is soaking up a large sum of my cash, saints row 3 is a must buy, and im going to get either BF3, or MW3. As much is i DONT wanna buy either, i need a new shooter. And that are really the only two viable option.))
Story-games aren't worth buying, no matter their quality? I've never heard that before :\

Hell yes! Sure the PC version is a little bit better but that's like saying having sex with the worlds hottest woman would be 'a little bit better' if there was honey involved. That doesn't mean you'd pass up having sex with the worlds hottest woman without the honey would it?

No no no, i didnt say that.
I said its a Story game. And its decently long, with a fair replay value.

I personally dont buy story games, because of what they are. Story Driven.
They arnt bad, but short OF the story itself, theres very little to do. Its the opposite of games like Oblivion, Morrowind, and soon to be Skyrim. Because while those have stories, they arnt story driven, theyre player driven open world games.

Being a story game isnt BAD, it just means that all there really is, is a story. Its like a book. You can read the book, and then read it again. But you already know 90% of it, and how it will end.

Well, there's certainly a lot of books I've enjoyed and subsequently purchased, or the other way around. IMO, most story games are worth more of my time than, uh, non story games. Skyrim in particular I have little hope for in terms of storyline quality...it'll just be a cool sandbox.

Yeah, of course. I have the PS3 version so I can't speak for the 360 one (although I'm sure there isn't much difference) and it runs really well. Really, you'd need a super-high-end PC to top it graphically.

Well yes, buying a book is nice xD
10-19.99 USD isnt much.
But when a game is 60$, and you have very little clue if your gunna like it or not, it can be a bit bigger of a decision.

Well, I guess I had a pretty good idea because I played the pre-build, and I think it was worth my money, but I guess it all depends on how much you're willing to spend (waste?) on entertainment :p

Only difference i have heard of is that for some obscure reason the enemy AI is reported to be markedly better on the PC.

Better processing power maybe? The loading times have been fixed on the PC. I have some issues with NPC animations being hyperspeed but apparently that is an issue on consoles as well? I can't imagine playing Human Resources on a console as the PC version has a bunch of proper PC optimisations, like a drag and drop inventory. However the cutscenes look like shit because the in game engine looks so much better than the pre-rendered muddy excuses for exposition. I am sure these would not seem so bad on a console, maybe they do?

My verdict? It is worth upgrading your PC for. I hope there is a sequel to this one (I'm thinking of it as a reboot as it doesn't really fit as a prequel) in which they fix their mistakes, ie enforced boss fights.
