It truly was an awesome event. I really feel bad for not seeing the final 6 hours or so. I mean, if I'd watched those, I'd have got no sleep at all before my lectures started... Still, i feel sad. But on the other had, that's a lot of money going to donations, and that's just plain awesome.
Also, looking at that chart, i wonder what those two mayor spikes were... Anyone know?

Well that was certainly a thing that happened. Judging by the reactions, I'm so glad I put the Iron Maiden and Hallelujah challenges in. Whale dong, LRR!

AFRICA!
Africa won me my challenge prize so yes;

AFRICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
You won a prize? Wow, I entered craploads, but all I got was Beej reading out my post about begging Harrison Krix to donate stuff for auction

Also, I noticed you spamming a question about shipping options to the UK last night, did you get an answer? I wouldn't mind ordering some stuff from them too

EDIT:

Also, http://www.youtube.com/user/Cawendaw has pretty much everything as far as I'm aware in it.
Unfortunately he doesn't have the second Derpline (the one where Alex got 2ltr clubbed)
Yeah I asked 2 or 3 times but never got a response. It was just the post time difference between Canada ground mail and Canada Air mail for postage options for the poster pre-order. I went with Canada Air in the end as it was only $2 more and probably much faster!

I'm amazed by how much they raise. Sure donations like the $10,000 Notch gave for that sheet of Magic cards was amazing, but it's mainly from small donations of $5, $10, $20. I donated about £20, and couldn't afford to participate in the auctions (the Doctor Who scarf I had my eye on went for over $4000).

They must have has a massive donation as I missed the end since I fell asleep at about 4AM, and it was just coming up to $325,000.
They did a final $5 challenge for the very last lot of personal items from the LRR crew. It catapulted them to an additional hour, they got a $3700 donation too which I think was a payment for the final auction for the one of a kind Desert Bus poster.

They finally finished about 8.30am UK time. I stayed up for it and it was worth it!

Easily my favourite moment of the Week.

A bit annoyed that Team Ashton won though.

Wow, not many charities around the world can claim to get so much money and have so much fun with it as well!

I missed most of this year, but next year I really want to watch and donate. Next year, lets make it a million.

By the way, if anyone's still wondering what happened during the final hours, twitch.tv [http://www.twitch.tv/db_high/b/300890265] has your back.
Unless you're on an iDevice. They don't like Flash.

I know for a fact that I got less than 24 hours of sleep during the course of Desert Bus and only missed about 40 hours due to sleeping and school. It was so much fun and I already miss staying up all night to watch it. Hopefully next year I'll be able to contribute some money to it.

I managed to watch a good amount of it, and almost participate in one of the art challenges.

And I won nothing except Kroze and Matt singing Winter Wrap Up:

I laughed my ass off when Graham discovered QWOP. I don't even know how much bussing I watched...More than half, certainly. I don't know where the africaaaaaa thing came about, but I was there (in the chat, and watching the feed) for quite a lot of the other memes. Well dong, everyone, well dong.

Oh, but wasn't the Fangamer contribution included in the $376k?

It was put in towards the end. It was $8000ish for Team Kroze because "it sounds more metal, while Ashton sounds like a Twilight vampire".

It was switched because Kroze is a brony.

Aaand if SOPA passes they could all be felons. Sigh.

I am so glad that they do this though. I spent 45 minutes today explaining to someone how awesome desert bus for hope is.
actually being as they are Canadian SOPA wouldn't effect them other than most likely getting their stream banned in the US

I missed a lot of it this year, I think I tuned in for the first time on day 5 when they had just over what they got last year.
Then they got $60,000 in the final 9 hours or so.

Truly an amazing job LRR. Especially to nearly double last year's total - who saw that one coming? Fantastic.

Mt first DB this year and I look forward to another year. It was hilarious and heart-warming. Even though they rejected my challenge, I felt relieved that it was acknowledged by Kroze!

#TeamKroze all the way!

I just remembered this just now, I had a "zinger" read out by Mia to do with Kate not being there when they got "Pi money", so I suppose I'm an extremely small part of Desert Bus 5 now.

Also... Graham breaking down at QWOP.

and the game of Hot Club
And #TeamKroze, although my only reason is for his awesome hat. Otherwise they are tied. And #TeamPaul whenever he sings

Well that's a bummer. Sorry I wasn't much of a help then.
