I like their explanation. You can tell its ten pounds of Bullshit about why there work is artistic in a three pound sack.

It looks neat but I don't see the deep emotional connect. It looks more like mood-furniture to me. As a matter of fact color changing mood furniture would be cool.

I love the idea personally. Like the chair having lively colors when you're using. Not sure how the chair would work in an office tho lol!

The design is dull and uninteresting and they don't DO enough. I was expecting the lamp to have a much more extensive transformation than slowly half swivelling a few panels and withdrawing tendrils a couple millimetres a minute.

Make a lamp where the shade is half an umbrella and the whole thing opens and closes rhytmically like some obscene heart that speeds up the closer you are...
Make it so entire sides slowly revolved or extend, revealing bold style statements and painted eyes that glow in the dark...
