If this DLC is supposed to take place DURING the events of the game, I'd love to see it actually tied back into the story, instead of it simply being an "add-on."

Either way, I predict this won't be the only DLC to drop for this title. Not too worried about the lack of augs - at least, based on the info on the game's site, you'll have the ability to acquire them as you progress . . . which leads me to believe this isn't going to be a bried +1hr DLC, but instead adding quite a few more hours of gameplay.

Sounds like forced stealth elements and a lot of "puzzle rooms" to create forced challenge. Loved the game but I'll pass.

As long as I don't have to hack, I'm alright. I have EVERY SINGLE hacking augment, and I die in like 5 bullets (dermal armor is for pussies).
Oh, I bet you they disable every damn augment besides your basic starting stuff, the HUD and take away your weapons. Doesn't that sound like fun!

Wait, if his augmentations are disabled then how is he even alive? How can he see? Or hear?
They'll probably figure out some kind of explanation for how he can move but not use his abilities. That or... COMA MODE!

Is there a good reason why his augmentations are off, or is it just because?
Metroid treatment. Maybe someone just smacked him really hard in the face before leaving him unconscious.

OT: Maybe, maybe not. The game should be good enough on it's own, but without this i'm gonna feel like i'm missing out on something. Dick move Eidos. Dick move.

I have no idea what this has to do with Metroid... :S
Metroid has this trend of taking away your gear.

Well, since I basically sneak around trying not to kill or get noticed and only spend points on hacking this wont make much of a difference in my strategy. I'll get it for sure.
