Today i checked the site where i useually check for gaming info, and apprently Deus EX Human Revoultion got leaked For xbox 360,PC and PS3.Now I is laughing at DRM's face.(also for the PC they managed to unencrypt the files)DRM IS STUPID,STUPID,STUPID!HAHAHHAHAHAHHA!

also for the source [link]http://www.fanboyfeed.com/deus-ex-leaked-to-pirates/[/link]

Before you judge me and call me a 12 years old,i was referencing the Heavy from TF2.

Leaks are a normal thing in the world of street dated content and video games are known to have a big piracy following. This generation has fallen to some of the biggest leaks in history and they just keep coming.

Earlier today Deus Ex: Human Revolution has leaked on the internet for both XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 five days early. The PC version is not leaked as of yet, but with the court case of the early PC Beta version getting leaked back in April it?s just a matter of time until somone uploads the files online.

If you're looking to pick this one up be sure to stay away from live streaming sites and youtube as the captured content will be posted.
It was also leaked for the PC.sad news for square enix and also as said in the quote try to avoid Deus Ex videos so you won't get spoiled.

P.S I'm not telling you to go download it i'm just telling the news.

Eh, it comes out in three days or so. I've seen vendors break that date much much earlier. Big titles like this leaking/getting out early is pretty common. Given that the alpha build for this leaked once already.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but only the consoles can pirate the full game right now, and PC only has the "press preview leak" build which only has the first 5 hours of the game(Actually convinced a lot of PC gamers to purchase the whole game).

There is also a clone-dvd leaked for the PC(Not cr*cked, and you can't use it because every DVD dosen't have the critical missing files that are required to play the game)

this is the actual game not the preview build.

That would be the Review-Beta build; not the Final Release build.
IIRC, that leak was traced to a copy in Italy.

I don't get to play it until the 26th, fucking stupid Euro release dates. At least USA people get it on the 23rd. Well anyway, this just proves that DRM is useless.

Here in Finland, there is a certain Vkmies that feels your pain. I hope the place I pre-ordered the augmented edition from wont take forever to send it to me.

What DRM did it have anyway (beyond Steam)? And they've removed the region lock (at least in Europe).

As a developer, I'm all for kicking the everliving shit out of people that leak our work, then lighting them on fire. Seriously, grow the Hell up.

No it doesn't. About 25% of people pirated the Humble Indie Bundle, and the creator of World of Goo said that the game had a piracy rate near 90%. Intrusive DRM is annoying, but it is not useless.

It's scary you say that with the eyes, also a lot of stores leak games too, a mom and pop shop in my town used to leak the pokemon games like a week early. But as long as they are not pirating it it's not the worse that can happen.

certainly not!
just near useless..
clearly we need a new console gen and a new set of drm things are being cracked at a phenomenal rate recently..
non-standard blurays would possibly help a tad, and simply not developing review release versions just level 1 demo's would go a long way to keeping people away from the content for as long as possible

there really is no way to stop a hardened pirate but you can slow them down if you do it right for sure.
