Sooooo if I haven't picked up stealth aug's that much because I thought the game could be approached more ways than one I'm screwed....? Meh..wanted to try something different this time , but it seem this is another one of those "choice " games . Guess I'll have to replay once my nerves allow me.

Fun fact: because of a accidental missclick in the police station mission I ended up killing the entire police station + all the police officers outside and even killed the guy I convinced to let me in so I guess I'm gonna get the bad ending anyway ^^ ( there are more endings right?)
This is Deus Ex. "Good" and "Evil" do not exist. Justice is dead, karma is a relic. A few bodies here, a few bodies there, it all adds up to little more than the black marks on your soul; and it is only the whims of one man and the absolute power vested in him by the machinations of fate that shall write the future.

But really though. Just use cover--sneak up behind a guy, cap/impale him in the back of the head, rinse and repeat.

Like many of the folks that posted before me, I've run into the issue of having far too much ammo, to the point where it's taking up a majority of my inventory. I think this comes from playing with a more stealth oriented approach. Usually, if I'm doing any shooting, it's a single bullet with a silenced pistol for a headshot. On average, getting through an average room with 4-6 henchmen, I will use maybe 2 bullets total.

I have a good amount of ammo at all times, and I've killed every goddamn hobo I find for fun with my shotgun or rifle.

If you are doing a run and gun play through, I semi am saving my non lethal play through for later, like me I highly recommend upgrading your weapons as much as possible and getting the augs to reduce recoil to 0, never miss a shot again ;D.

1. Be sneaky

2. Headhsots

3. Try using a combination of combat styles. You get more XP for doing takedowns than you do for shooting anwway.

4. Use the combat rifle. I'm swimming in ammo for that thing due to all the soldiers using it. Then again I tend to use stealth, so it might be different if I was shooting everyone.
Yeah, my first playthrough for DE, I gone largely stealth, mostly using the 10mm and Combat rifle (both silenced and with laser sights), In fact, I think I killed about 30 people thus far, and of those, thats mostly just the mercs. The secret to success? Well, it has already been said, but Headshots. No matter the gun, unless you chose the augments that give you armor and aim stability, your best tactice is to treat cover like its a fucking magnet to your steel ass, and go for headshots.

Funny, I'm doing a stealthy run and I'm getting so much ammo I don't even know what to do with it. :p

Remember the game can be played more than one way. If you have the firepower and you wanna go guns blazing, go for it. If you don't have any ammo, then obviously you have to be a little more stealthy and use the melee take-downs if you have to. You usually don't even have to engage the enemy, you can just sneak around them.
