Deus Ex preorder GAME

I hope no one tried to get it from Gamestop...

They only pulled OnLive coupons out of the PC copies of the game, and it's not like you're missing much by not getting to download it for free from OnLive when you've already got a hard copy in your hands.

I didn't bother to pre-order. I wasn't sure I'd like the game or not, having never played the first two games. Now I'm wishing I had pre-ordered for the goodies.

Onlive doesnt allow you to download the game, they have a (free if you own the game) service that uses their hardware for streaming so you can play deus ex without gaming hardware as long as you have a good internet connection.
you could even play on your grannys slow pc because onlive does the computing, unless you used gamestop but most ppl steer clear of them anyway IF they have the choice.

Ah okay, my bad. I just assumed OnLive was another one of those digital distributors like Steam or Origin. I still don't think people are missing much, but that might just be me. They have a hard copy in their hands, so I don't personally understand the uproar about not being able to buy the game twice for the price of one. :s

The problem is that it says on the box that the coupon is inside, even thoguh it isn't. So you're paying for something you're not getting.

Judging by the number of no-shows on most of the pre-orders in this thread, I must be one of the lucky few. My copy turned up from Amazon by bog-standard first class post this morning. Guess I'm luckier than I thought.

damnit I've had my augmented edition on pre-order since January from amazon and it hasn't got here yet.

I suppose I'll just have to wait for tomorrow, although the waiting is driving me a little haywire.

I've never understood why we have to wait a week, if a week is all we wait.

It's all in english, stop region locking your consoles and just give the US and UK a simultainious launch.

Picking up my augmented edition tommorrow. Working anyway so wouldn't benifit from getting it in the post.

Say if you're little brother likes to eat disks (I speak from experience) - having that as a backup is good.

Ouch, that's some expensive pre-ordering! I had a look at the Augmented edition but it was a little too rich for my blood - I ended up only going for the Limited edition instead. 'Only' being a relative word in this sense, of course.

And if the waiting is making you a little haywire, I've got the damn thing sat here on my desk at work staring at me, and I know I won't be able to get home and play it for f*cking hours! It's less of a game now and more like Chinese water torture!

Living in Ireland here, I got a message saying my Game was in store, but that I have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up.

I'm glad they have it, but christ I wish they didn't tell me... the day is dragging so slowly for me now

It's usually about £5 cheaper than game and I received my copy yesterday. Unfortunately, it's for PC and won't get unlocked on steam for another 7 hours .

I guess you were unlucky this time from Game, they're pretty good with delivery here in Leeds.
