Devil Survivor 2, brilliant or ungodly brilliant?

I have to say I LOVED the first Devil Survivor. Just about everything about that game was brilliant to me. The fighting the story, the way the story was told, the endings were mostly brilliant. I wonder what other people thought of the first one and will think of the second one coming out soon enough, and what you think of Overclock?
I have a deep love of the Shin Megami Tensei series, every game I've played with that in its name has been brilliant. Just brilliant! So what does everyone else think about this game? Personally I think the Shin Megami Games out do almost any other jrpg. Square needs to put its act together or Atlus will take its place, haha.

I never played Devil Survivor, but if it's anything like the Persona games then it will have crappy repetitive combat put an an ingenious setting with awesome characters and a badass plot that always involves you killing god/satan/death.

The game is pretty fun and if you have a DS I would suggest getting it. It is a mix of a tactical game and turn based rpgs. The game is pretty unique and I'm not that good at explaining it. It is worth a play though.
