Am I the only one that felt this was a bit underwhelming? Besides the animated segment, it's just two people talking when a meteorite crashes through the building killing the old man that we barely know anything about. It's not exactly getting my hyped up for Diablo III but it's still a nice trailer nonetheless.
EDIT: I've never played the Diablo games before so I viewed it as someone who's not a fan in the slightest. I didn't know the man was a character from the last two games, so my bad.

2000$ says you find him and he identifies items for you. I hope they don't pull a StarCraft 2 and just keep us waiting and waiting for a lack luster game with alot of content missing because their fat baby WoW is more important. Because I seriously love the Diablo series, but blizzard is pissing me off.

Well, blizz still knows how to make a pretty cinematic, that's for sure, too bad it doesn't exactly interest me in the game at all, but then again, even if I wasn't pissed at blizz, I probably wouldn't get it since the always online thing annoys me.

Extra Credits did an episode on Diablo 3's auction-house which suggested that putting time into Diablo 3 should be lucrative/worthwhile for them.

Nice style to this trailer, sadly it gives very little information or plot synopsis. Cinematic trailers for games usually lend themselves best to a lot of action scenes of random dudes beating the snot out of each other. Same reason why the WoW vanilla and TBC cinematic trailers were much better received (and much more appropriate for commercial purposes) than the WoTLK and Cataclysm cinematics. They were less story driven and more a CGI rollercoaster ride.

I thought it was really damn epic. Amazing artwork style with the CGI melding with drawn figures. Blizzard hasn't lost their touch at making the best cinematics!
