Diablo 3 RoS on consoles... Are you enjoying it?

I'm absolutely loving it, my only problem with it is that I've got too many groups of people that ALL need me to be the 4th man in their party! Don't know who to side with as I'll inevitably be letting the rest of the people down!

I played D3 on the 360 so I was able to bring my characters over from that account onto my new PS4.....that alone was frickin' awesome!

Quick question for some true D3 veterans: what's the deal with the Demon Gankers? I was playing yesterday and this ominous music started playing and my controller would start to rumble every couple seconds. Suddenly a giant elite demon jumps out of nowhere, murders my face, and disappears as abruptly as it came. o.o

Later I was playing with some friends and one appeared to try and kill one of my friends. I actually managed to get a look at it's name this time: "Nemisis" with some text under it's life-bar describing it as "Killer Of (insert friend's name here)". What triggers these bastards? I've got a paragon 14 mage at this point so I could understand one coming after her...but at the time I was playing my demon hunter who's only lvl 44.

When your friends die, they spawn a nemesis. They appear randomly at the level of whatever character you're playing when they appear. I think they can jump like....5 times? Collecting a Diablo boss fight style shadow clone of each person they've killed. Kill them to get regular elite loot, plus a gift for whichever friend is named.

They're unique to UEE

Just to make sure I understood: you're saying whenever a friend dies in their own game, there's a chance a Nemesis will spawn in your game? If they kill you, they move on to someone on your friend's list, bringing along a shadow clone of you? I do recall seeing some other things jump out with the demon, but I died too fast to really get a good look at anything that killed me.

Yes. It's not instant, the nemesis will pop up after a period of time. Also it can pop up against whoever it killed rather than going to a friends game. Each player they defeat will make them stronger.

If they defeat about 5-6 players they'll disappear forever. Otherwise it'd just get absurd.

If you defeat it, you'll get a gift to send to someone it killed.

And of course, they're not in hardcore. That'd be screwed up.

My wife and I are having a blast. We played the original Diablo 3 and it was okay, but the UEE makes it absolutely great. Also, this is probably one of the few games I'd prefer on console over PC any day of the week. It just works so well with a controller.

Yep, the Nemesis feature is awesome.... annnnd it sometimes comes at the WORST possible moment, which is awesome. I say that, because it keeps you on your toes, especially when you start hearing the horn sounding off, warning that Nemesis is coming. I got shocked by it again, last night, because he jumped my witch doctor while I was trying to get her from 60 to 70 during Act V last night.... DURING THE CAMPAIGN. That threw me for a loop, because I thought he only paid visits in Adventure mode, and I was mistaken!!

lol, I can spot you some more, in that case! If I am not mistaken, you can get the add-on for the 360 for alot less, if you dont go the route of transferring over to the One. I could have sworn I read somewhere that you can just get the expansion for considerably less that way.

I will also add that the crusader class is a BEAST. He makes the Barbarian look like a paperweight, I kid you not. I also think he is voiced by the guy who did the voicework for the elf in Dragon Age 2, the one with the tattoos all over him.
