diablo II

was wondering how many people still play diablo II, kinda wanna get back into it but I feel that if I do, I wouldnt be able to do much since everyone is at level cap and has the best gear etc.

anyone know if its still worth it to go back and start fresh?

I haven't played it in a little while, but when I did get bored with the regular game, I installed a mod called eastern sun that changed a ton of things about the game to make it more interesting. New sets, enemies, harder areas, almost all characters skill trees have been changed a bit, much larger stash to be able to store lots of fun things, and other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting. I think it might only be available for the LoD expansion, but I'm not sure.

Well, I have never played it, but I would like to, also you can expect a surge in the few monthes before Diablo 3 comes out, gamers like to get in the mood.

I play from time to time, most of the times is just to replay Act 2 wich is my favourite part of the game.

Single-player will always love you. I've beaten it with only 4 of the classes so far, need to try out the Druid at some point in my life.

I haven't in years but back when I ruined at least two computer mice (or mouses) from that gamer. I usually used my super offensive aura'd paladin or a summoner druid. Every so many months I get a wild hair up my ass and play that game again hardcore for about a week.
I'm pretty sure when DIII comes out I will lose all contact with my friends, family, and co-workers.

I started playing d2 for the first time in 2008. D2 is a solid online and OFFLINE game. It is one of the best games ever, standing the test of time even against Mass Effect and Fallout 3. Play it again and appreciate how good of a game it is: linear progression but totally open with how you play it, from what class you pick to how you built and tech your hero, and the online play is built-in, not tacked on.

You can always get back into it. I think people are always making new characters in the game. I think I played it for my final time in December though. I'm gonna wait for 3 to come out before I dabble in Diablo again.

The strange thing is, Im gonna wait till Diablo 3 is out, probably buy that, then if I like it get Diablo 2.

Like enjoying a newer game and then delving into the older titles in the series to see where it came from? I'm like that too but I don't wait for the newest installment to come out to begin.
