It's more to do with the fact that the people who are actually being affected by the cheating don't really have a chance at reporting the players. Because any cheater with an ounce of common sense would just change his name after a game, making it impossible to track him down from the user side of things.direkiller said:The game is still attached to your EA account is it not?JoesshittyOs said:From what I've heard about the PC version, you can literally change your name whenever you want at no charge, making report cheaters useless.
EA has shown its not above banning you from all there games
But...I use it to troll 64 player metro cq only servers late at night!wooty said:You can go ahead and nerf.the shit out of the USAS12 shotgun while your at it, that shits getting out of hand
That's not overly true, as you can look at your battle reports which will still link to the players profile.JoesshittyOs said:It's more to do with the fact that the people who are actually being affected by the cheating don't really have a chance at reporting the players. That's not the point I was making at all. No-one uses match-making, a persons in-game level has nothing to do with their skill level. Normally I'm not one to call people out by saying they only hate the game because they suck at it, but you literally just admitted to that. Comon, you can't expect yourself to be good at a game right from the beginning. You have to learn-OHHHHHHH you're talking about how the unlocks completely unbalance the game, aren't you? Okay, yeah, I agree 100% with that, BUT I don't think it unbalances the game enough to make it unplayable. It's honestly a really fun game, and since you already bought it you should get your money's worth and just get through the first couple of unlocks, even go on empty servers if you have to and capture points in a vehicle to unlock flares, after that it's honestly extremely fun.Avae said:I agree with you, I can't play Battlefield 3, it's too hard and the matchmaking is totally broken since many high level players just skip the matchmaking and join servers directly, making level 0-10 players fight against teams of prestiged high level players!KILGAZOR said:So they're going to work on a nearly non-existent problem while dozens of bugs and imbalances left unfixed? If I had known that I wouldn't have bought it.
It's Origin, it almost certainly does.RedEyesBlackGamer said:As long as the banning doesn't involve locking players out of playing the games in their EA library, I'm fine with it.
The frag rounds do less damage than normal buckshot. Anyway, it's a hell of a lot better than the sniper-rifle-shotguns in bad company 2.wooty said:Not too sure about that, I went back to bf3 today and got razed by that damn thing, especially with the frag rounds, theres barely a chance.Kevlar Eater said:Why? It's useless outside of Metro Meatgrinders and that Bazaar place.wooty said:You can go ahead and nerf.the shit out of the USAS12 shotgun while your at it, that shits getting out of hand
Just a tone down on damage would be welcome at this juncture.
It's a fun game alright, but it is unbalanced. Lots of people complain about it at EA forums and the Battle logs. Most matches end up totally one sided. If your on a losing team you can just switch to the winning team and thats what a lot of people end up doing. Thats why you end up with the ridiculous instances of prestiged high level players all stacked on one team. I played it for a while but it's not enjoyable for me though i'm glad others enjoyed it because I loved 1942, 2 and BC2. This new one though? Not for me.KILGAZOR said:That's not the point I was making at all. No-one uses match-making, a persons in-game level has nothing to do with their skill level. Agreed. Hopefully they already have an algorithm ready to detect cheaters after the round is long over.redisforever said:I really hope that tthis doesn't trap people who aren't cheating, but are just good at the game, or are wrongly accused of cheating by someone who just wants to be immature.
