Why are you treating this book as if it's a mandatory textbook used in Japanese schools to teach history?

Furthermore, the artstyle isn't what's bad, it's the concept itself, which is weird, disturbing (especially with the excessive panty-shots) and just don't serve a point or have a reason.
Some people have this fetish, and just because you don't find anything of value in it doesn't mean it has none at all. I don't find these arousing at all but that doesn't mean others don't. Hell, even in this thread people have spoken up about how they find this amusing. There, it is has already served its purpose. To be entertaining, and arousing.

only the japanese could turn hitler into a demonic little evil painter school girl
Xenophobic, extremely racist culture that was not only an ally of Hitler but also was stiff competetion for the Third Riech's kill count of civilians in death camps.

Yea, with that in mind, no surprise that Hitler is viewed as a cute and lovable schoolgirl painter.
Ah yes I'm sure the artist of these pics wants to go out and behead a bunch of Chinese to appease his god the emperor of Japan.

I don't even know anymore. Japan is fucking strange.
To be fair, Germany has produced it's own fair share of bizarre art.
France too... I mean, have you seen the Hara Kiri covers?

There really huge difference from Japan back then and Japan now. Now And Then, Here and There's Hamdo was an accurate portrayal of Hitler mainly because he was INSPIRED from Hitler from the stub of his shoe to the tip of the last hair in his head, now Japan just draws them genderbent and smacks the title of dictators on them, just like how they smacked Detectives on Milky Holmes, Philosophers in Tsundere, Heidegger and Me, and tanks in Girls Und Panzers.

I miss the time where when Japan thought of dictators, the first thing they'd think of is the ever glorious Reinhard or the horrible rapist/invader Hamdo from Now and Then, Here and There, y'know, the smart and much more realistic outlook on dictators, well those days are clearly gone now.

Pretty funny to be honest. I don't really see why I should be offended because of something like this. Although they would be better if the drawn character would somewhat resemble the person they're supposed to represent.

I clicked on this thread expecting some sort of news report on a bunch of Japanese people speaking about their adoration of dictators or something ... How could I be so naive - "Japan" should've been the first indication that this would be about something completely different.

Pretty strange, but I might have found this humorous if the pictures more closely resembled the real dictators.

I mean, Hitler needs a 'stache.

Thank you for making my day.
So much.

OT: This is a proper educational tool in order to help men fap remember the horrible dictators of the world and some specific poses things they did.
If you excuse me, I'm going to study some more about Atatürk...

Actually on topic: I think it's rather silly. I mean, c'mon, Gadafi and Kim Il-sung are just... yeah. They're silly.

Oh Japan. You didn't forget to rule 63 your own dictator...

Well at least you're consistent... but wait, what? Is that an avatar based on anime-style artwork I see?
Japan doesn't mind enjoying our pop culture while still calling us idiot barbarians, so I got no quams about enjoying pieces of theirs while calling them bigoted POS's. Fair is fair.
Well then. It's clear this discussion is over for me. I don't agree with your prejudice, feel free to defend it but it's not exactly an open minded or reasonable view.

I do not like this trend from Japan. You can argue cultural differences all you want, but sexualizing genocidal dictators for the purpose of wank material just seems bizarrely ignorant.

.....
That being said, this is still the greatest thing ever.

Ha! Clearly, you haven't seen these little beauties!

Why all these views as Japan as some monolithic group that can have only one thought on anything. Capitano Segnaposto stated that on South Park we have Saddam Hussein as some gay guy who has sexy and bosses around Satan. Does the whole American culture view Saddam Hussein like that? No we don't and not everyone in Japan buys Moe books. Every nation has it's subcultures and with the internet people can find these subcultures with no context. Honestly this is just ignorism and bigotry when you try to group a whole thought pattern of people off of one art book.

I think they're hilarious, except that I don't really get most of the design aspects. Like why is Hitler a painter? It's either a metaphor I don't understand or it's not relevant.
