I'm not sure if I'm right, I only saw it for a second, but when you're on the gondola and the Lutece's are screwing around, I think Robert is painting Andrew Ryan, not sure though.

I was glad to see the Daxter and Clank treasures in Sly: Thieves in Time. It eases my pain.

Captcha wants me to enter the following: Grumpy Cat

NO.

Anyone else notice the ragtime version of Shiny Happy People by REM that plays... er, I believe its when you exit the Hall of Heroes...
ALSO...
Everybody Wants To Rule The World is NOT ONLY played during the first time we see Elizabeth open a tear, and NOT ONLY in the game credits, but...
Did anyone else notice that ALSO, in the huge room with the tons of speakers in the statue, we hear Elizabeth humming the chorus of the song?
Weird huh? :)

He's painting himself.
It seems narcissistic but once the big reveal happens it makes a massive amount of "OOOOOOOOOOH SHIT" sense.

Did anyone else get the Metropolis reference down at the docks level? Or am I the only one who has both played Bioshock Infinite and seen that movie?

This was way before the ending (in the wardens office)
Nice catch. I missed that one completely.

And as everyone has said, there's the song references. The first time I walked into Battleship Bay.....I though 'Wait, is that....Girls Just Wanna Have Fun?'

Holly hell what a moron! (guy in the video not the poster).

How can ANYONE not know about the massacre at wounded knee its a pretty famous historical moment, shit i know of it and im not American so its not part of my cultures intimidate history (which the doufus in the video clearly sounds like he is).

The idiocrisy is well and truly in effect isnt it......
Never heard of it. Only heard about it thanks to Bioshock and just assumed it was probably a real thing. Apparently I was right.
Get taught no American history over here in Aus, unless you take history classes I guess but even then they mostly focus on the Cold War, WW2 and various revolutions in high school. Funny thing, the end of year year 12 paper last year had a picture of I believe the "Storming of the Winter Palace" picture/painting/W.E. In it there was a Mechwarrior 'cause apparently they just get these pictures off Google -.-

Really I'd consider it somewhat like Gallipoli. Probably big in some parts of the world - we sure as hell learn about it - but I doubt its something that everyone knows, or even most people. Historic battle for Australia, but I don't expect less related countries to remember it the same.

At least in this one they didn't completely shove it in your face.

Just gently shoved it in your face I suppose.

I remember rolling my eyes in Human Revolution when David Sarif is all, "The code to that door over there is 0451. Did you get that? It's 0451. Once again, in case any of you fans were worried that this isn't a real Dues Ex game, THE CODE IS ZERO-FOUR-FIVE-ONE!"
... He only really does that if stick around his office and don't go to the elevator.
