Did anyone else see the leaked SW:TOR gameplay?

It looks pretty shit, I am however taking into consideration the fact that MMO's are pretty shit to watch, starter zones/levels are usually tutorials with limited(!) content, the game isn't finished and the guy playing turns with his keyboard. It doesn't look like it's that innovative either, there are better MMO's out there from what I've seen/read.

I wish MMO makers would be a bit more risky, I know conforming to MMO norms might get you more customers, but fuck them, they can play everything else.

I think it looks great. This video has made me very excited for the game again. Subtle changes in facial expression while talking to quest givers and whatnot did it for me.

MMOs are never really fun to watch, and this still looks interesting, even if the animations are somewhat... lacking.

That said, it was difficult to accurately judge the game because the guy who was taking the vid decided that incessant three or four second pauses would improve the viewer's experience.

This video actually made me more hyped for SW:TOR than I was before.

There *is* new stuff here. Companions, bonus objectives, a lack of auto-attacking, etc.

BioWare has never really been a leader in innovation. They just take pre-existing formulas, add a few new gameplay elements, and make them their own. This combat seems much more visceral than WoW, and the story seems like it'll shape out really well. We couldn't get a glimpse of the "dynamic roles" that they've been talking about, since this was a low-level video.

This is pretty much exactly what I was expecting. It looks like it borrows heavily from WoW, but definitely is unique enough to stand out on its own merits.
