...and think it was a trailer for a Fallout movie? The thing on Daniel Craig's arm had Pip-Boy written all over it. I was convinced it was a Fallout movie until the title screen appeared.

I saw the trailer and thought to myself, "A better title would be space cowboy!"

Yes and I'm sorry but to me it looked awful.
i agree, if by "awful" you mean "so awful it's awesome!" :) i can't wait to see that movie. i just hope it's not another Snakes on a Plane where they manage to hit that sweet spot where it's just plain awful...

Sadly yes.
I was in my living room at the time with my family. The trailer came on and after about 5 seconds I started to flip out dribbling at the mouth....then the trailer ended and I was terribly depressed with a weirded out family giving me funny looks.

Except that Space Cowboys is a Clint Eastwood movie about geriatrics who save the world from a Russian Missile Satellite.

Don't know what to think of it, but it has some of my favorite actors, and Jon Favreu has been on a roll lately as a director

No, not at all. That's because i used my "Obscure pop-culture knowledge" skill and identified it as the movie version of that incredible comic book [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboys_%26_Aliens].

I didn't think it was Fallout. I thought it was terrible but decent to others.

I can't take this seriously at all. You might as well put in Clint Eastwood in it and I'll watch it in a heartbeat reconsider but it's far too silly for me.
I can't take it seriously, the usual 'funny' and 'serious' thing doesn't work for me in this.

I'm pretty sure it's going for a rather campy "action sitcom". If it's any indication, Robert Downey Jr. was cast as the star, but pulled out due to obligations to Sherlock Holmes 2. I have a feeling that Cowboys and Aliens will be in the same vein as the Sherlock Holmes movie. It'll live or die on the abilities of the actors to toe the line between "hilarious, good fun" and "absurd".
