Did anyone even buy Serious Sam 3 BFE?

I am asking this because I don't see any threads about the game.All I see is thread about how awesome Skyrim is.Since there are no reviews I don't know if it's great like the previous ones.So if anyone bought it can tell me if it's good or not.

P.S I'm not a Skyrim hater or anything but common all the threads are about it

I haven't exactly been paying attention to gaming recently, so I don't actually know what Serious Sam is. I think that answers OP's question well enough.

I haven't bought it yet because it hasn't been ported to PS3 just yet, and it's surprisingly demanding on PCs considering it's lower res visuals and they haven't released a demo for me to use to check if my system will run it.
So, yeah waiting for the PS3 port.

Ironically it's a 90's era shooter but I know what your saying.

On topic: I knew it was coming because of x-play, otherwise I wouldn't have seen it coming. I didn't buy it though I played it at a friends house.

Bought it on pre-order. I'm having sooooo much fun with this one.
The tagline didn't lie. "No cover. All man." This is the kind of mad, twitchy shooter I've been missing, and it works like a charm. It basically boils down to "Disregard fancy gameplay mechanics, murder all alien invaders." ^^

I pre-ordered it from Amazon, but it got delayed till December 02. So until then, I got my Ass Creed Revs (I already beat Skyrim with my first character)

I got it, fuck its fun, its good enough to drag my attention away from Skyrim, in fact, I don't think Ill really be able to play Skyrim until I beat Serious Sam.

But actually those games (I only played SS:FE and SS:SE) are very well designed even though the game itself doesnt seem to be supposed to.

For example, every enemy makes its own sound so the player can know what types of enemies are coming without even looking at them, and every enemy has a different way of being killed (you can kill them with any weapon but each one of them has a weakness to a particular weapon).

There is more to the game then just mindless hordes of enemies, that is why a lot of people like it.

I loved the first Serious Sam game...

However, they couldn't have picked a worse time to release it, with so many high-profile game releases coinciding with it. Too many games to get through before I consider another purchase.

Waiting for reviews. There weren't even any reviews on launch day.

Even just right now, metacritic only lists 1 review (PC). Not even the gaming press knows it exists.

Had it pre-ordered, but not very far in yet (throwing it up on YouTube as well). I think it's crazy how demanding the game is - so many effects and whatnot. But it has humongous options to tweak and doesn't turn fugly with lowered settings.

I think the release date is unfortunate. Right after Skyrim and MW3. Without the delay it would have come out in October and might have fared much better.

Spread the word. Sam needs more love.
