I'm asking this because i'm wondering if the gameplay/ controlles for portal 2 are any good for the xbox360 . I could buy the game on pc , but i prefere to expand my xbox360 library if possible . But if people say that the 360 versions sucks i'll definately buy it on pc . I'm not asking if it's better on consoles , just if it's enjoyable.

Don't know about the 360, but I played the first on PS3. No problems.

I have since bought both Portals on PC.

I played Portal 1 on PC and Portal 2 on the 360.
Honestly, I didn't notice a difference because the games themselves were too awesome.
The 360 boasts nice graphics and effects though, from what I can tell.
The controls, just like any other game one any other console, are easy to get used to...
Don't sweat it.

Played the first on 360 and the second on PS3 with no problems so go ahead and enjoy some of the games this generation.

Portal is fine on the 360 but better on PC.
I imagine Portal2 would work better on 360 than portal1 did, because theres fewer multi-stringing portals while flying in midair while flipping upside down. I much prefer a mouse to such scenaios. It allows you to make shots off reflex, instead of premeditation.

Could be im just rubbish with a Joypad though.

Both versions of both games are identical on PCs and 360's, however Portal 1 comes bundled with the Orange Box (or at least used to): that means you are also paying for TF2, which a) is ported HORRIBLY onto Xbox and has no free DLC and b) can be downloaded for free on Steam.
Portal 2 on Xbox has splitscreen (or rather, splitscreen that WORKS)

Basically:
Buy Portal 1 on PC, buy portal 2 on either but on xbox would be a slight preference.

I played both on the 360, I have Portal 1 on PC too though, and I prefer the 360 version.

Its fine. I played portal 1 on the xbox and portal 2 for my PC and there isn't really any major difference. However, the PC version of portal 1 has a slightly different, more cannon friendly ending.

Simple controls so the Xbox works fine. I like triggers for each portal, actually...

I've only played the Portal games on Xbox 360. I played Portal: Still Alive on the 360 version of The Orange Box, and then Portal 2 on Xbox 360. Its basically the same game but I would imagine that the PC version looks better. It actually might be cheaper on the PC as well.

Played 1 on the xbox it was good. Consequently I play 2 one the PS3 was good as well. I think it is pretty hard to screw up Portal while porting it to other platforms it has pretty simple and straight forward game controls.

I played it on the 360 originally, because my computer at the time wouldn't have been able to run it(I'm not joking). It plays fine on the 360, but after playing the PC version for a while, the controller feels like it really restricts my movements.

Unless you are a 100 percent kinda guy, get it on the 360. You won't be able to beat the Gold Medal challenges on it though. I did, and it took me hours and hours of frustration.
