Umm honestly. what do YOU think? As if you haven't heard about it's "greatness" from everyone, anyone, everywhere.
thankyou for actually giving me a reason to buy this again. i didn't get that far and i realise i didn't give it enough of a chance. but i appreciate that it must be good after a while. so i shall give it another go! cheers matebalimuzz said:It depends on how far you played with your first go-round. Once I hit the Mall (the area where the Washington Monument is), I got totally immersed, but if you made it that far and didn't like it, that might mean that Fallout just isn't what you're looking for. However, if you hit Rivet City didn't immediately get sucked in, you probably will never love Fallout. If you didn't get as far as beating the GNR quest for Three Dog, give Fallout another shot, otherwise, it's probably not what you're looking for. It's a fantastic game though, and I recommend it to anyone who likes RPGs and has some minor experience with them, because it can be overwhelming for someone who has never played an RPG before.
Are you seriously telling me you dropped it because of that? Thats like me selling GTA IV because I die 24/7.Doc Theta Sigma said:Many people would say yes. I do not however. The item decay element of Oblivion really put me off Fallout 3. People have called me stupid not to have bought Fallout 3 but I recently borrowed it from a friend, and while very immersive, the item decay still really annoyed me.
Yeah I am. I know it sounds incredibly stupid but it's something that really bugs me. When playing a game I don't want to be stopping every twenty or thirty minutes to fix my equipment. I know poor weapon quality fits into the whole post-apocalyptic wasteland thing but item decay is my major mechanic hate.Sparrow Tag said:Are you seriously telling me you dropped it because of that? (Side Note: I love GTA IV. Shoot me now, I know it's a terrible thing)
Well, I suggest buying it for your computer and downloading a add-on from Fallout Nexus.Doc Theta Sigma said:Yeah I am. I know it sounds incredibly stupid but it's something that really bugs me. I'd love to. But unfortunately I don't have the kind of scratch kicking around for a decent computer. I'm using a laptop at the minute... And not a good laptop.Sparrow Tag said:Well, I suggest buying it for your computer and downloading a add-on from Fallout Nexus.Doc Theta Sigma said:Yeah I am. i did get out of the vault. made it to the first town (the name escapes me) but it just didn't do anything for me. i wish i'd played it more in a way. but at the same time i just couldn't be bothered.Angus Young said:go play it as soon as possible as soon as you get out of the vault its amazing
