Did Steam explode for anyone else?

Every Steam related website 404's for me on every computer/network I attempt to access it on. I also can't login into the Steam program on anything either.
I am curious if any other members of The Escapist have encountered a Steam explosion. I posted in Off Topic since it isn't technically 'gaming' discussion.

Yup, it seems to have exploded that's for sure. Granted, for some reason the Steam Client is working perfectly fine for me and I haven't lost connection to my friends or anything. I cannot access the store, however, and the friends' activity page is blank.

Oh, it's been screwing up on and off for me ever since they made Left 4 Dead 2 free. It won't show my profile page, complete transactions, load or refresh pages, register votes, etc.

Its either a DDOS attack or they are taking down server capacity in preparation for the end of the steam sale.

Good to know it isn't just me then. I was starting to get annoyed when all the usual tricks to fix the "Cannot connect to steam servers" error weren't working.

Word is it's those DERP guys that attacked that Twitch streamer a couple days ago and took down Blizzard, EA, LoL, and DOTA 2.
