did this game ever come out?

is just me or HUNT: Horrors of the Gilded Age never came out? is was back in E3 2014 but i never see anyone played this game yet

Simple Google search lead me to the game's website [http://www.huntthegame.com/] which has an Apply for Beta button. So, my guess is that it isn't out yet. While there isn't any sort of "news" or a "announcements" or a forum or whatever with a timestamp that would signify the if the game is still being developed, the copyright disclaimer at the bottom of the website is for 2016, so my assumption is that the site is still maintained.

The second hit on Google was the Wikipedia entry [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunt:_Horrors_of_the_Gilded_Age] which mentions that the last real news around the game was that Crytek delayed the beta back in 2014 but never announced a new date or any other news around the development. The stated reason for the delay was moving the development to a new office.

My guess, based on the information available, is that the game is in development hell.

I can guarantee you that it's been developed for longer than that. Games, when talking about big titles, usually take at least 3-4 years. 6 years would not be unusual, either. And even then, they don't tend to get announced until 1-2 years before release.

This game was more than announced - it was exhibited on E3 and a beta was supposed to be coming out. It seems it's been over 50% done, as a rough guestimate. It's been merely 2 years since the beta was supposed to be out, with no actual news following in the mean time. This is why I think it's highly likely it's in development hell - that seems like an unreasonable long delay. Especially with the aforementioned lack of information.
