Did you like any of The Matrix movies? How about the spin-offs? When I first saw it I thought it was epic, but now it's more of a mediocre situation.

Now back to the point. I thoroughly enjoy the first movie once I set aside Keanu's bog-awful acting style. The plot was good, the idea was good, and the action was revolutionary in a way that didn't require the stupidity and wank of the second and third movies.

In addition, I enjoyed the Animatrix. So many different anime styles fit really well.

The first movie was great, Reloaded was okay, and Revolutions was slightly below okay.

Despite it being a terrible game, I actually enjoyed Enter the Matrix. I'm not sure why. And I enjoyed the Animatrix shorts as well.

the concept behind the first one was quite interesting, and if you could get past keanu reeve's god awful acting, it was overall a good movie.

The first one was good and the second one was ok. The third one I couldn't finish. The first one is one of my favorite movies of all time, but the rest were just... meh.

The first Matrix movie was in itself a great movie, and it is arguably one of the most culturally significant movies of the last decade (it was released in 1999, right?).
