Oh gods yes, I totally agree. How is it that Seth McFarlane manages to taint every single thing he touches with far left demagoguery to the point it's got no value for enjoyability? There plenty on the other side that are just as bad, but they're not trying and failing to entertain me because of political slant. Still COSMOS whit Neil Degrasse Tyson was awesome, and really informative.
-The best generation of Pokemon will always be the second. The 4th gen remakes of Gold and Silver only cemented this for me.
-I play almost every fighting game that comes out that isn't the really obscure "anime" titles like Arcana Heart. Recently surprisingly got into Mortal Kombat X despite heavily disliking 9.
-I'm a light anime watcher and manga reader, but don't mind any suggestions. If I get into something I can marathon it in a few days at most (Berserk, looking at you).
-I look at way too many hentai doujins. For research.
-Huge on music as an expressive and entertaining medium. Though my tastes generally fall into the broad genres of rock and metal most of the time, I often just love music in general. Except a lot of modern pop.
-To add on to love of music, I really love singing, even if I'm not great at it. Also a very bad drummer, but it's enjoyable to play and I'm sure I'll get better as time goes on.
-Dark Souls 2 is just as good as the first (come at me :v).
-RPGs, MMOs are my usual game choices when not playing fighting games. I love the SMT series and a good number of Final Fantasy games. My favorites from those series respectively are SMT 3: Nocturne and Final Fantasy IV.
-As far as MMOs go I play tons, but I do/did play FFXIV (waiting for expansion at this point) on the Balmung and Moogle servers. Possibly Gilgamesh in the future. Playing Vindictus right now.
-I like to think I'm a decent person, but now I also feel like I'm giving myself far too much credit.

And I think having 60fps definitely helps the game since I did only play it on PC. I saw a couple sections watching a friend who played it on PS3 that I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole that seemed just fine on PC. Never experienced any dropped frames at all and my PC isn't that great.
- I do not think it's a stretch of the imagination for gaming companies to remake old games and improve upon them or make them with all of the original content, like Secret of Mana. I do think that that will never happen until Jesus himself walks the Earth for a second (third?) time.
Well they're kinda doing this, or at least the original creators are, to some extent, with spiritual successors like Mighty Number 9 (Mega Man), Yooka-Laylee (Banjo-Kazooie), and most recently, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (Castlevania.)

I think it has a lot to do with this pose in particular. No idea what it is about that, but unf.
So, basically, the latter option.
-I don't take #Serious stuff seriously if they contain half naked chicks (With very little visible muscle) doing fucking gymnastics and kicking all kinds of booty. This is fine for tongue and cheek works where they aren't supposed to be taken seriously, but for serious and gritty stuff? No... just... no. A good example of that is Motoko from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone complex, who wears a leotard and thigh-high stocking combo.... for raisins.
In fairness, Motoko's a cyborg. I think the juxtaposition of lithe form and extraordinary physical ability adds an additional layer of inhumanity to the character/setting. For me at least, it makes the character a lot less appealing and a lot more unsettling.
She's like a Real Doll with a consciousness. And it's pissed.
But in other stuff? Yeah, just silly. With the usual caveats of MAGIC or "because, that's why, now shut up and look at the cute, 4 foot nothing girl kicking monster asses."
But seriously, I really like art. Shame I can't do it as much as I want, due to a combination of insecurity, busyness, and overall laziness.
Right there with ya. I make attempts at it, but I'm nowhere near what I'd like to be and firmly believe all efforts are in vain...also, work, gaming, and the internet tend to distract me from much needed practice.

OT:
- Weeaboos, bronies, furries, SuperWhoLocks, "gamers" and anyone that's an unabashed fanatic of something - even if it's something I also enjoy - piss me off. I guess I'm just a buzzkill. I like my fandoms vanilla.
- Super Metroid Minecraft is the greatest game of all time (IMO).

- I think mods are great but also tarnish the original work to a degree (they're the video game equivalent of the Star Wars Special Editions). As such I generally stay away from mods until I'm burnt out on the vanilla mode and looking for a fresh experience (same goes for cheat codes... wow, I'm showing my age there).
- I yearn for a great tabletop RPG experience but I don't have the friends to make it happen.
- I fucking LOVE Dokapon Kingdom. Behind its weak, generic presentation lies a solid party RPG I could sit and play with friends all day... if only they shared my love. :'(
- Ghost in the Shell is a terrible movie.
- Doctor Who was, is, and probably will always be a terrible show.
- I think Farscape features both some of the best and worst writing I've seen in a sci-fi show, but I still love it to bits. All the colour and beautiful Henson puppets make it stand out against all the "uniformed humans in space" sci-fis, and it easily sits at the top of my list.
- Trying to think of something more to say than "I like/dislike X"...
- I wish everyone could be more honest, open-minded and humble. Too many people are too ashamed to admit error and conflate "winning an argument" with "being right", and so will rather keep hammering on a debunked point until their opponent walks away in frustration than concede to them. Have some humility, appreciate the virtue of truth and stop wasting everyone's time. You'll enjoy the satisfaction of intellectual honesty, both in the eyes of others and yourself.

-It makes me sad that I don't like Super Metroid nearly as much as most other Metroid fans, I just prefer most of the other games in the series.
-I'm sure I sound like a broken record, but Pokemon Gen 5, both in terms of the Pokemon themselves and the games, are highly unappreciated. I could write a college thesis on their merits if given the opportunity.
-I feel like the large emphasis of character customization is killing the idea of iconic characters in video games. I just want developers to make memorable characters without relying on nose size sliders.
-Youtube shows like Game Grumps, Jontron, PeanutButterGamer and many others interest me way more than actual TV shows could ever hope too.
-Banjo Kazooie is a master piece, but I think I hate Banjo Tooie.
-Reloading animations in FPS games are some of the best parts of the genre.

-INCOMING RANT!!! The attention Lucina got in favor of Chrom in Smash Bros., the Fire Emblem TCG DLC in Japan, a Figma figure and more, is unwarranted. In Awakening, Lucina kinda loses all importance the minute she reveals she is Chrom's daughter from the future. I found her to be pretty boring in my second play through all around, despite really liking her the first time I played Awakening. I just don't understand how she came out as the best thing since sliced Marth, while Chrom gets the short end of the stick. RANT CONCLUDED!!!

-Dude, I have the same problem. I see myself walking all the time around my room like a crazy persosn when I want to do some work.
It screws up the delicate handgun/shotgun/rifle/magnum balance, it takes up too much space along with the stock, and it's a spray weapon. No spray weapon in my Resi, sir!
