Did you know that an average human eats 8 spiders, in ones whole life, while sleeping.
The first recorded use of this "fact" was in an internet article describing all sorts of stupid stuff that people believe, this was one that the author made up herself.

Koala Bears are not born with the bacteria they need to digest Eucalyptus leaves and as cubs must eat their mothers feces in order to get the necessary bacteria, talk about taking shit from mom.

The koala is not a bear. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koala) Although hardly anyone outside Australia cares to make the distinction, so I'll let this one slide.

Did you know that Adolf Hitler was a vegatarian?
Technically no. He ate very little meat, but was not vegetarian and had a love of Bavarian sausages.

Jonah was actually swallowed by a fish, not a whale.

ive heard that also, seems possible but it could be an urban myth
im pretty sure its not a form of spider, im not even sure if it an arachnid
The Daddy-Long legs issue is made more complicated by the fact that there are several species that go by that name. In britain it's a crane-fly, in Australia Pholcidae. Crane-flies are non-venomous. Pholcidae IS, can penetrate human skin, but is incredibly mild.

Did you know that Emperer Penguins (I think plus I can't spell) only mate once because they can only... once
This is the most wrong fact I have ever seen. If this were true the population would halve every generation (unless they have MASSIVE litters)
In fact, they are serially monogamous (one partner a year. Inter-year monogamy of 15%) and lay one egg at a time.
