Did you watch ALL of the endless eight?

I did because I always held that naive hope that maybe the next episode would finally do something different.

I was crushed each and every week.

I watched all of them simply to show my friend who's a major Harui fan who couldn't. It was a great idea in theory but in practice it was just annoying. The ending was a little disappointing for the amount of work that went into it too. And to top it off, after I finished watching it I subconciously felt it was the end of the whole series and I haven't watched another episode since. I probably should though...

If you only watched the first 13 episodes then you missed the 14th which was probably the best one which tied the whole series together in an amazing way which truly made it the climax of the series. However I kinda share your cynicism about why people love it so much. I love it purely for the ideas and the interesting storyline that goes into it and I'd recommend it to anyone who asked but I don't think it's the best anime in existence...

Code Geass takes that prize...

Yes. And I even enjoyed them. Noticing all the subtle differences between each episode was actually pretty fun to me...

Freaking Haruhi suzumiya....

I watch ONE anime (gurren lagann) and now my Otaku friend is telling me to watch everything from Naruto to Haruhi Suzumiya. I finished the first episode of the latter a month ago and haven't touched it since. Is it any good?
all animes can get along :D

Since I watched them online after the first 3 episode of the endless eight I just skipped to to important looking events to check if they said anything different then skipped to the next episode hoping that this hellish experiment would fucking end!

No, I didn't. To be fair the only thing I know about the show is this

I only just got into the anime this summer, and when the English version of Season 2 came out I marathon'd it.

I kinda wish I hadn't though. Because about 6 episodes in, I noticed I was becoming pretty irritable. Though that could do with the fact that the entirety of the second season was such a let-down compared to the first, and that they turned Haruhi from being just extremely socially-awkward into being a full-blown sociopath.

Killed my interest in the entire anime, to be honest.

I thought the Endless Eight refereed to eight anime series which spans 500+ episodes like Pokemon, Dragonball (DB - GT), Sailor Moon, One Piece, etc...

Anyway, I've never seen those and, don't wanna search for them online. I may have an opportunity to watch them in a month or so but don't care one way or another.

Yes, of course!

At first it was annoying, since there was so many stories KyoAni could have adapted instead of making 8 episodes of the essentially the same thing... But after watching Disappearance... The Endless Eight made total sense...

That picture is amazing, and I see it as I just happened to be listening to this:
OT:I watched the first, second(when they first realize time is looping), and last(when they escape the loops). All the rest just seemed repetitive.

A friend of mine said that the Endless 8 was one of the biggest mindfucks of his life.

However, he also said this about Memento, so I tend not to take his word on it.

I'd like to see it, but I doubt I ever will.

I did, but then again, I did watch all of 'When They Cry'.
What are you implying? We're you not blown away by adult Rena meeting young Miyo?

Back on topic,

I haven't gotten around to watching more than Season 1 of Haruhi because I can't find 2 dubbed. If anyone has it, link me.
I don't think it is Dubbed, And, Yes I did watch all of them and like someone said earlier (Something like last month lol) It' totally goes into The Disappearance.
Also I don't get why people get so up in arms over it, It's almost trendy to "rage" at KyoAni over this.

Okay, I finally watched it, and all I can say is after the fourth time, I just skipped to last one. That was TEDIOUS, yet admittingly pretty cleaver. Just imagine...
...being in Nagato's shoes and having to experience that thousands upon thousands of times.
Overall, I still thought it was a good season.

The dub's out now, if anyone's wondering
