That's kinda like telling the kid he should wait for his first proper love because he has his whole life ahead of him... :S

So sex is the first and foremost thing on his mind on his death bed?

Instead of important things like family, friends ect.

And again, what kind of prostitute agrees to have sex with a dieing 15 year old?

I'll bet you it wasn't worth it.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess he spent quite enought time with his family and friends in the weeks/months/years leading up to this. You know being sick and not able to go anywhere and all.
Sure there are more important things in life, but most of those were not/never attainable for him. Good on him he got his wish, I don't think I would have been able to come up with a better one at that age.

It doesn't say he was on his death bed. Just that it was his dying wish, as in "if you could do one thing before you kicked off, what would it be?". It's not "how do you want to spend your final moments on this plane of existence?"
If he was actually about to expire, it's probably unlikely he'd even be able to perform anyways. And I seriously doubt the hospital staff would have allowed his friends to take him off of the premises.

He either had or didn't have his family, wish or no wish. I don't see how that is a valid point as you can't wish for a loving family to magically appear out of nowhere.
And at 15 sex is the only thing on your mind, especially if you're a virgin and even more so if you've never even had a girlfriend.
I can imagine most kids around that age, especially boys will probably get shocked at the fact they're dying as a virgin. Like it or not, people aren't as high and noble as you'd like them to be.

What kind of prostitute would agree to the act? If there wasn't a law, all of them. As long as they get paid. Not all of them are like that, but I'd say most of them are.

Given that his friends pooled together to get him his final wish granted, I'd say he has the friends already, so he need not worry about it.

Just because you value other things more, because you have lived a wealthier better life with more experiences doesn't mean that your view is his.

Ok, for guys, there is no greater task in life than losing your virginity. So, he wanted to expirence something that (hopefully) most his age have not yet. People are not treated as adults here until 18, and even thats a slightly false view, as you don't get full award wage until 21.

In his situation I may have done the same. Who knows? I never had to face that problem and I got to enjoy all the standard things a teenager does.

Perfectly reasonable to me. He was terminally ill, and this was his last request. The prostitute got paid, and he got what he wanted. The people saying, there's more to life than sex, although I do agree with you, he isn't you or I. To him, maybe this was a burning desire he had, and I'm sure he went out with a smile.

Okay, I don't think this is a bad thing. Maybe illegal, but not wrong. He might be testosterone charged, and you might say that there is more to life than sex, but he was terminally ill. There wasn't much more to life, period. And, even if it was wrong he wasn't going to grow up to regret it. I say if you know you're going to die right away, you might as well live life the way you want to.

I think people should be more supportive. It's easy to spring upon all the ethical and legal implications if all he is to you is some anonymous dying kid. To all that hospital staff and his friends, who really knew him, it was the best thing they could have done for him. It's really too bad that he couldn't have expected his parents to be more supportive, but most of us couldn't in that situation.
