That's cool! I wouldn't wanna die a virgin either!
Trust me, either I had a bad experience or sex isn't all it's cracked up to be. Also, this is quite weird, we signed up round about the same time, you're a few days older than me and live 40 minutes away from me. Bit freaky how I was drawn to your comment.
Was your partner any good? Were you both new to it, nobody knows what they are doing the first time really sure you can have a good idea from watching but hands on experiance is always the most important thing.

Seems entirely reasonable. I hope he had a nice time.
Er...He is 15, which is an illegal age to have sex, and he had sex with a prostitute (also illegal).
Entirely reasonable in Holland maybe. Probably standard procedure in a ward of an Amsterdam hospital...
He was going to die without the potential to reach the age limit. I can't think if a moral issue with it. Also, I think prostitution is legal in Australia, I know it is in some parts.

It makes me sad that that's the truth.

Anyway, I find his last wish pretty retarded, but then, it's none of my business, is it?
If that's the best thing he can think of, well, good for him for getting it.
His life obviously sucked, so even though I can't see why he'd want to do it, I can't say he didn't deserve to have his wish granted.

Even if it is revolting.
What would you wish for that isn't retarded? :/

Please tell us what would be so much better.

Thats a dumb last request.

There is soo much more to life than sex.
I've really gotta agree with this.
Sex is such a minor, small part of life. Sure it's nice, but I would be far more concerned with how I spent my final moments with family and friends, rather then getting 'lucky'. It just seems like a waste.
Thank you! Someone else who thinks there are very many more important things besides sex!

On the other hand, remember, the kid was only 15. Puberty hits and sex is suddenly on the fore-front of your mind.
You'd think dieing would out the important things into perspective.

I guess some 15 year olds are stupid.
...some?

I want to know where people are finding all of these intelligent teenagers.

OT: What's wrong with having sex as your last wish? Some people might want food, some might want time with their families, and this kid wanted sex.

Why not? Just don't charge the woman plus he will need to have sex twice since I heard the first time is the worst.

For me?
Absolutely anything.
Whores are filthy and disgusting.
That's why they're called "whores," not "ladies."

But again: It's not my business.
I just don't get why it's news.

People hire whores all the time - just look at politicians.
Is it that he's 15?
Going by the people here, sex is the only important thing in the world, so why should they be surprised that that's what he wanted?
Furthermore, why should they care now?

Isn't he dead? It's a little late to ***** at him.
thats a pretty one dimentional view of prostitutes and call girls in general, and since we dont know who they hired to do the deed (for all we know they hired a high class call girl) a couple of good friends of mine are call girls, and in school were A+ students but since they can get up to $2000 in one night, it's better money than any other job out there and it helps them pay for UNI.

Why is that a "Weird" last request? i mean, if he was about to die, and has yet to have sex, seems like a very reasonable thing to ask for.

Indeed. That kid failed even more. I would at least have asked to meet Richard Dawkins or Arnold Schwarzenegger (so I could apologize for hanging up on him on Skype in 2004. I'm not joking)

So true, i mean wouldn't a weird last request be wanting to bathe in a bathtub full of mashed potato and gravy?

the people who said this:
"[it] demeans women and reduces the sexual act to being just a physical one"

are complete pricks who don't care about the poor kid dieing of cancer at all, and instead want this to be about feminism and about them.

Personally though, I don't like the sound of this. I don't think they should break the law like this. This is a really complicated issue though but surely they can just have a compromise like taking him to eat that sundae that costs 10,000 dollars or something.

I think this should be an important time to note that 15 year olds are NOT kids. They may be emotionally undeveloped and vulnerable, but treating their sexual desires as criminal acts under certain circumstances is doing more harm than good.

Consider the case of a (male) student that slept with his teacher. The teacher was busted, and after she got out of jail they got back together again. Even into adulthood the underage participant stood by his choice.

And now in this day and age kids are sending pictures of themselves to their peers and some prosecutors are considering throwing around child pornography charges for this act.

Our views of age are far too polarized and puritanical.

This is just another example of people blowing this up to a proportion it was never meant to go and reading into it more than they should. It was a surface decision, something that the boy wanted to experience as he perceived as an "adult" thing to do, since he wasn't going to live to see it. There is no deeper meaning behind all this. Its really no ones say on whether it was right or wrong, it was supposed to be a private matter.
I find it hard to believe he had any intentions of demeaning women, and I seriously doubt this one act is going to have a greater impact of "reducing" what a sexual act is.

All it was, was a boy wanted to know the pleasures of a woman before he died, a mystery to a boy his age. I think the media could have at least granted him that without raising the issue to further incident. But obviously that is too much to ask.

That said, I'm not sure if I personally would grant his wish, but would be in support.
