The kid deserved to chop some meat. Hope he enjoyed it. Anyone who complains about it or thinks it was wrong are just... grrrr.

When you're 15, terminally ill, and never knew the touch of a woman before?

... Not really. Not like he could just go on a trip around the world, experience everything life had to offer, love, romance, action, adventure...etc.

Personally I find this a much better last wish than "meet random celebrity who couldn't give less of a shit about you!" or "go to an overrated amusement park you won't really enjoy on the count that you're dying a slowly and agonizing death!". Good on him. And anyone that says this is "WRONG!" is either an idiot or a hypocrite. It was his wish. You can hardly say he was going to be "SCARRED FOR LIFE!".

It's a sad thing that people often forget laws were meant to protect people, not the other way around.

Indeed. That kid failed even more. I would at least have asked to meet Richard Dawkins or Arnold Schwarzenegger (so I could apologize for hanging up on him on Skype in 2004. I'm not joking)
No one cares.

The kid got what he wanted. We all would like to think that provided it wasn't too outlandish, our last wish could be granted as well. And you can go over all you'd like how you think it's a "retarded" request. Thing is, it's been mentioned that he was 15, so all he cared about was sex. While that may be, the kid still died at age fucking 15. 15 years old, and dead. Not quickly, he had to live with (granted I don't know how long for) that he was going to die before becoming an adult. Could never get married, have children, fuck, probably never even had a job. So go ahead and judge the 15 year old dead kid's dieing wish. I'd like to see how the majority would handle it.

Well he is at that age, I don't think it's that odd of a request. I applaud his courage for asking though =3
You don't ask, then you don't get.

I wonder if the parents ever found out, and what kind of reactions they would have.

So meeting a sports star or going to Disneyworld would have been more fulfilling? Of course there is more to life than sex, but I still wouldn't see this as an unreasonable last request.

If one of my friends were in the same position I would do absolutely everything I could to fulfill their last wish.

Good for him.

And a large part of me is very proud of the caring professionals who put their own concerns aside to make a young boys end more pleasant.

And there is more to life than sex, but I've known a few people in their twenties who died of terminal illness and the four of them all said that one of the things that they hadn't expected was the want and lust it seemed to spur. And also having been to more funerals than I would care, I also know that death, real death not on tv or in the paper, but in your life does much the same. Genetic script or fear of dying alone. It seems to be a natural response.

1. Yes
2. Not an oxymoron, a "street corner" prostitute that will give a $10 job, now that is dirty, High Class girls however are checked every 2 weeks (usually) by their doctor live in normal houses etc, actually most likely live better than most people on these forums (including myself)
3. not at all, cant change a stone wall into a paper wall, but the thing is they are "whores" if you want to be technical about it as the definition of whore is to sell ones body for money, doesn't mean they are "dirty" or any less than other people for that matter, hell i know people that are all high and mighty and hate the idea of call girsl and they look and smell like they get dragged through piles of shit each day.
4. Because it's true maybe?

If you think about it, thats not a ver strange last wish. He was 15, a time when your hormones are going nuts, and if you barely ever see girls your age, and never will since your gunna die. Why not just loose one last thing.

But seriosly the second I saw that he was 15 i guessed sex, and i was right.

Morality in this instance almost seems like a double standard. There is not denying that the kid was underage so the act would have been considered statutory. However, the kid was being honest with himself. He wasn't cheated into thinking that life revolves around sex because sex is what everything else revolves around. With the lack of human contact the poor kid probably did nothing but watch tv and movies or play video games, all of which are saturated with sex. Take the recent success of shows like Trueblood or any number of dramas on any channel and more often than not there is a sex scene or some reference to sex. His final request wasn't sad because of his age or his thoughts on life, it was sad because sex is truly held in such high regard.
