He wanted something, someone gave it. Where's the problem?

I think the 'ethicists' getting worked up are just jealous he got some.

What is it with people not being able to grasp the fact that deep down, however much we bullshit ourselves, were still animals. "Demeans women"? What a bunch of cunts. Its demeaning to men not to accept facts that a young boy that age is naturally preoccupied with one thing.

Like the article says, he had fuck all else going for him in his life, so why not grant him one last request that with everything else being taken away from him, was the only thing that remained.

Id actually consider it a merciful thing. Being restricted to a hostipal, lying there with your hormones going nuts, with fuck all to take your mind off it.

Thats a dumb last request.

There is soo much more to life than sex.
I dissagre rather than doing something trivial like saying "you have cancer what are you going to do now" " im going to go to disneyland" when your fifteen. when your young about 40-70% of whats on your mind is sexz like my friend who admits and prety much tells every one that he is a chronic masturbater

Indeed. That kid failed even more. I would at least have asked to meet Richard Dawkins or Arnold Schwarzenegger (so I could apologize for hanging up on him on Skype in 2004. I'm not joking)
So seeing a man who isn't really important in person is better than sex? If you were this boy and you wanted to see him the article would be about how THAT was a dumb choice.

I think it was a great was a great last wish and would've gotten him a prostitute if i was one of his friends there is nothing wrong with it morally, and if a woman wants to be a prostitute or in adult entertainment let them I don't find it demeaning to woman at all

That's cool! I wouldn't wanna die a virgin either!
Trust me, either I had a bad experience or sex isn't all it's cracked up to be. Also, this is quite weird, we signed up round about the same time, you're a few days older than me and live 40 minutes away from me. Bit freaky how I was drawn to your comment.
You must've just had a bad experience coz sex is awesome!

Shit dude I am so adding you now. I didn't realise anyone on here lived anywhere near Manchester

Well, excuse him for not living enough to learn that! Well, as long as he got his wish, he died peacefully. The best thing is that he didn't have to worry about getting any STD. As tragic as that may be anyways...

i don't see the problem. i mean sure, there are legal problems, but if the kid's dying, then who are we to deny him his last wish, whatever it may be? i don't particularly like theme parks, but i'm not going to stop or object to someone going to disneyland as a dying wish. the same applies here.

and don't try and have a go at me for comparing sex to disneyland, i know they're different, but the root of it is all the same.

hehe... root.
Yeah who gives a crap about legal issues I mean shit this kid had probly spent his close to his whole life in bed could not have had to many friends and he is at that age when well u wanna do it.I could not c a reason to not have let this kid get his wish.

Sure I would have granted his last wish. Everyone should experience sex at some point in their lives.

I think the time has passed to argue wih you guys, I will now simply say... It is a shame he did not have the experience with the girlfriend he should have had.
Wow... I think you should get off your high horse, mate. You seem oblivious to the fact that there must be a material consideration for any sort of 'make a wish' deal such as this. What good is it for the lad to wish for a girlfriend with whom he can make 'true' love to? He may as well have wished he didn't have cancer.

Sure, there are more important things than mere sex. A loving family and friends, fulfillment in your work and leisure/hobbies, etc. But for you to act like this guy could have used his 'wish' to experience any of these things shows a massive ignorance on multiple levels.

To wish for an experience of sex is perfectly reasonable in my opinion. Even if love isn't involved, sex can be a great fun. I'm glad this fellow was able to have some fun in the life he had left to him, and I don't think anyone should presume to deny him that.

Cool, I've got all bases covered.
Yea, and so did the kid!
I remember being 15, and deathbed or not I remember that sex with a hot girl was pretty high on my list of things to do before I die; the relationship part hadn't quite hit home yet.
Now that I'm 20 (21 this weekend) and I've gotten to experience a bit more of life, I know I'd prefer to have a relationship with said hot girl rather than a one night stand. But under most situations I know I probably won't turn her down.
