I think they did the right thing, and that the prostitute should not get in trouble for it. If it was the last wish of a dying boy, then it's a good thing they did that. There are things in life that people should not have to die before experiencing them, and if someone wants to have sex before they die, then they should have that opportunity. The boy couldn't help his age, and neither could his friends or the prostitute. Punishment for something like that is wrong.

Well folks will always be looking for some way to help them forget that they are living at a standard that is below what they desire. In the US especially cognitive dissonance is running rampant. People are not only not practicing what they say (or preach) but in fact living in the exact opposite of such things. It's unhealthy and results in conflicts that could be otherwise avoided.

My point to YOU was that if you are truly comfortable with who you are, there is nothing you 'need to defend'. Because nobody should be able to stop you from being you and if you are truly worried enough to 'defend' who you are then you might have more problems with yourself than others do.

I'd have totally granted the poor guy's request. Though, I'd have tried to find someone willing who wasn't a prostitute, but still, if she agreed to it to help him, then there's no problem. Good for them, granting the poor guy his request. He's dying, I mean, it's the least you could do, and it's not like he wanted to sleep with someone specific, where consensual issues arise. It's not like he's gonna get much more physical contact in a hospital, and that whole Skin Hunger thing is quite valid--we do need physical contact beyond just a touch here, or a kiss to the forehead, shit like that.
