I really liked Gunstar Heroes and Castlevania: Bloodlines on Genesis. Some of really fun games right there.

*EDIT*
I really want to play the original Alone in the Dark. It was horrible looking but I remember it being really scary when it first came out.

I play old games (mainly MS-DOS games on Dosbox) almost as much as new games. And every couple of years I fire up one of my old favorites, like Ultima 7, X-Com, Terror from the Deep or the original Doom. Some games are timeless and will be enjoyable forever, despite aging graphics.

I rediscovered my copies of Golden Sun 1&2 for the GBA, but my GBA has been lost to the sands of time. I ended up going out and buying a DS just to play them again.

I also got my DOS emulator working on Ubuntu so I can play Dark Forces 1&2.

And of course Red Alert 2.

Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper II. I found the game all right, but DKII hates every modern computer, and I have to tweak my settings whenever I want it to run.

Every year I complete Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past on SNES. I don't even enjoy it, I just do it out of obligation to myself.

Goldeneye for the N64. the fun i had with that game. *sigh* listening to metal and gunning people down in the silo level, or driving around in the tank on the runway level.

Sadly i cant play it anymore, me and a friend took some pills and decided to smash the shit out of it with bats, we took it outside, smoked a few joints then forgot about it and went back inside. i found it 2 days later after it had been sitting outside in the pouring rain
Why don't you just buy a new one? They're not much more than £10 (or however much that is in dollars).

My favourite game which stirs in me that feeling of nostalgia is definitely Red Alert 2.
So much fun.
10 pounds you say? would it be mainstream gaming shops, or would you have to go to the little places like kart culb in aldershot?

I was thinking more eBay, but you could try "Kart Culb In Aldershot" I suppose.
