Good. Maybe they'll focus their energies on something constructive.

Doubt it. I think that it is more likely that they have smartened up and would sue the group as a whole rather than individual parties if he decides to relitigate.

It was dismissed without prejudice, which means he could start it up again in about six months (if I understand correctly) if he wanted to.

He still needs to get their actual details, and even if Valve was being receptive the courts generally don't approve subpoenas hunting for personal information if the plaintiff has no lawyer. And since nobody seems willing to take up the case on contingency (i.e. "I'll work for free until we win")...

And nothing of value was lost.

There is a right way and a wrong way to behave when you feel like you're being insulted, and Digital Homicide seemed to pick the worst way every single time. Hopefully they will take these events as a chance to reflect and improve themselves, though I have a feeling that they probably won't.

1. Pretty much this, and 2. Of fucking course not. Almost every incident with these guys was because they couldn't keep their mouths shut when people called out their shoddy 'games' and shady tactics. And they're STILL pointing fingers and blaming everyone else for their problems.
