This is what happens when there are three sides fighting over the same piece of land.
My God. What have we done?

EDIT: Also, you posted the same picture twice.
Goddamit I did too. No wonder Dastardos PMed me all confused. It's late here so I'll just leave things as they are till the morning.

Edit: Fixed.

Builds!

Which brings us on to Spring 1907. It's fair to say that this year the mid-game will bleed into proceedings. Every move and land grab will take on extra significance for the major players.

News from the warzone here: I've been incredibly busy lately with only enough time to quickly scan through my usual internet round-up. This isn't an excuse, but a post letting you all know that I haven't forgotten and you'll get your orders soon (tomorrow is fine and sunny, with a few clouds of boredom coming in from the east).

A spoiler of your orders will come when the PC isn't farging up my inbox. Until then, pictures!

And so I'll need retreat orders from:
Khedive Rex, re: Rumania (Ukraine or disband)
Armitage Shanks re: Greece (Ionian or Aegean)
dekkarax re: Holland (Ruhr or disband)

Apologies for the delay everyone. I have no excuse. Somehow I just forgot after uploading to photobucket that - hey! - these images might need to be posted.

So the Fall of 1907. I'll set a long deadline to give everyone the time to get back into things after this mysterious delay. So, Thursday the 15th, 10 AM.

Uh, just a heads up, I can only get to the escapist from school right now, and my school blocks all photobucket and imageshack links. I'll try to get around this problem in the next 8 or so hours but I don't know how that'll work out.

Ouch. Well, do what you can and we'll see how things will have to be.

Righto. Adjustments. First off, we must bid a fond farewell to dekkarax, who fought the good fight with Teutonic resolve but, alas and alack, fell to the superior maritime power of England and the sheer manpower of the Eastern Slavic menace. Thanks dek, but sadly this game doesn't have prizes for a resolute defeat.

The adjustments:
England: +2
France: -1
(Germany: -1)
Italy: -1
Russia: +1

Those builds should get in lickety-split unless someone has back-room dealings involved in the process.

Sorry for the pause, people, but we're just waiting on someone who, from the looks of it, has been extremely busy in meat world. I know, I know, I'm as surprised as you are.

Spring Moves ahoy! And I have to say, this season seems like a sort of in-between turn. That may sound silly if you look at all the action, but I maintain my stance. From my admittedly limited vantage point it seems that alliances have either frayed or will soon, and everyone's lashing out willy-nilly. Hatches are battened down, gloves are off, shirt sleeves are rolled up, belts are buckled, and metaphors are thrown around like they're out of fashion (similes have joined in too).
In other words, the is not the end of the beginning or the beginning of the end, but it's nearly the end of the middle. The mores, expectations and agreements of the early years are seeming old hat and everyone is guessing at the shape the New World will take.

Because you all might have lost a certain amount of page-checking zeal waiting for this turn, I'll extend this one a bit longer to allow for everyone to get around to...things.

Tuesday 17th, 10 AM.

I'll be on a beach somewhere, between the 28th November and the 7th December, imbibing ridiculous quantities of alcohol as a method to prepare myself for having to leave school and start real life. Its more than likely I won't be able to send off any orders in this period.

Just a heads up.

Hello fellow diplomats. I apologise greatly for my extended absence but my computer, love of my life, had some terrible disease which only an electronic doctor could heal with his soothing hands. This took some time, and the little time I could find on others' computers was taken up by far more personal matters. But all is now better. I see, though, that Armitage's Leavers escapades* sit right in the middle of what would be next turn's deadline.
As such I'll have the results for this turn online tomorrow, after which the game will go into hibernation until exactly the 7th of December - ironically when my own RL concerns will die down. Until then, thank you for your patience, and good luck!

*Akin to 'spring break' for high school finishers, with all the debauchery that metaphor implies. Just in case you internationals are wondering.

PS: They made a politics board while I was gone? Ha.
