yeah im an expert with those AT mines in BC2, i can predict movements and often on rush when defending i will set them prematurly at the roads to the NEXT base
That always causes me problems. As a tank driver I've crushed more than a few freindly AT mines when we were forced to fall back.

My own cheap move however, is the standard: call in a mortar strike on top of the M-COM.

Fire Prism tanks in DoW. ...before they limited you.

There's just no winning against 4 or more of them.

other than that I wouldn't really call anything I do dirty. Unless we're counting swimming into walls in Morrowind to skill up, exploiting the AI to glitch so you make a boss fight really easy, or playing Dead Space and just shooting off one leg and keep on going...

you may be a noobtuber, a camper or a nade spammer. we all have our dirty tactics that we love, my personal favourite is in BFBC2 covering a quad (ATV in USA) with C4 and driving it into the objective instantly destroying it. it feels wrong but it gets the job done

so i ask my fellow escapees, what dirty tactics do you use?
I actually perfected that. Instead of using the quadbike, I use a UAV. Harder to detect, availabe at every spot, reusable (atleast was at some point) and easier to use in buildings. And so horribly cheap.

I also use a sniper class in MW2 with both heartbeat sensor and thermal scope. And cold blooded. And ninja. I don't concider it cheap, but people really seem to hate it.

I feel I'm good enough (CoD, BC, MoH) that I don't have to do anything "dirty." I work well with my teammates and we get the job done. Straight up, no bull shit. I don't use anything cheap either.

When playing in split-screen with buddies.. occasionally, "screening" or "screen-looking". I try not to do it, but if I've spent more than a minute without running into a fight, boredom takes over and I glance over to determine the guy's location.

in the halo: reach beta, and probably the final game, the armorlock ability knocks down the shields of nearby enemies when you use it. so run in, and instead of melee you armorlock and when you come out you melee down everything in the immediate area.

That sounds so deliciously EVIL.
I LOVE IT.

OT: In CoD 6, I loved running Liteweight/Marathon/Ninja, running all the way to the other teams spawn, sneaking up behind them, and either C4-ing them, or going up behind one of them, reciting the Boondock Saints prayer, before shooting them in the back of the head with a USP.
Makes me giggle incessantly.

Not a dirty tactic regarding games. But I'm a person who can see different angles on things and why some same actions are taken with a variety of motivations. I once made a very stupid mistake (I didn't think it trough enough) and my manager came, prittey pissed, to ask for an explanation. I brought it from a different perspective than a f*ck-up and so he ended the conversation with: "Good job!"

I've heard people complaining about spamming the Carl Gustav in Bad Company 2. I do use it a lot (with extra ammo and explosive damage), but I've never really seen it as a problem (because it never happens to me).

However, flying a UAV covered with C4 into the M-COM station is just plain mean.

Exploiting bugs in every game I can find them in.
Reasons:
1) It's fun
2) You win (which is good)
3) you beat the game faster
I never try to exploit bugs in multiplayer games because of the whiners and possible bans. But it's really funny in solo player games.

I spam with cyclops in Marvel vs. Capcom, I don't do it on purpose in other fighters, but its just to tempting when projectiles are a single button.

R.U.S.E, making 100 russian heavy artillery bases and surrounding them by AA and AT and then hide infantry in the woods so when they come in with their infantry they get ambushed. Or spamming rocket trucks is always cheap.
Awww! You already have it! It doesn't come out in the UK until tomorrow :( can't wait.

OT: Probably CivRev when you get to the point where you can make tanks, then just get ALL your cities to make loads of tanks to destroy everyone. I just feel like it's cheating a bit when I do it.

EDIT: This isn't game related, but when I am playing tennis, I wait until it comes to me, and when no one expects it, I just tap it just over the net and get the point :)

I don't think it is, but my friends think it is a dirty tactic...
