Just to confirm, you are being sarcastic, right?

... This actually almost sounds interesting. As for whether I would download it? ... uhhh, do I want that on my hard drive? Doubtful ... Besides, I don't enjoy relationships anyway, so why would I want to simulate it?

If I did, though, I would go for the blind girl. I have an extreme infidelity complex (so extreme that if I explained it here I would probably get banned for "sexist remarks") and if she were blind, she couldn't check out other guys behind my back.

Problem solved.

I'm not actually. I'm not into porn of any kind.

I know there is going to be more political correctness and more opinionated posts turned arguements, but here's my go for a comment on this game.

After reading this article I went more indepth to find out more, and I was surprised to find a lot of work put into the personality and the story (afterall it IS a visual novel) to find such work put into something by random assortment of programmers and people who may or may not have ever met is kind of badass itself.

I do not generally find myself playing visual novels that often because I prefer to have a book in my hands and let the theater of the mind take over (no offense if you prefer visual novels, this is just me.) If I do set out to play one, this looks pretty neat.

As for the fanbase, it seems that the main character's 'heart issue' is an in-joke having to do with anything cute or erotic, his reaction is usually 'HURK (dead)' From my poking around though, speculation incoming, I found out one thing here:

Do not follow him or you will die in Act 1

No, that's the comic re-interpretation of the heart condition, used for humorous purposes. In the game itself, it's taken dead serious. He has a kind of arrhythmia which could kill him if his heart is put under too much strain from physical exception, a blow to the chest, or even emotional stress, although barring that, he is likely to live a long life. The main character facing his mortality is a big part of the game.
Bah! You caught me, my research period of the game only lasted about 20 minutes, still I realize the severity of heart problems, and that is why I am kind of worried that people who go for the 'super-athletic girl' will find themselves in a 'bad end.'

There's a "<url=http://i41.tinypic.com/156tqp2.jpg>Disable Adult Content" option. I asked if you were sarcastic because I wasn't sure if you'd seen where other people in the thread pointed it out.

Besides, it sounds like it has the usual porn-to-plot ratio you find in higher-quality, more reputable eroge (i.e. extremely little), so the option doesn't make one miss anything important.

I'm really enjoying the responses in this thread. Demonstrates the maturity of much of the community; glad I was wrong when I was expecting somewhat of a moral-high-horse opportunity (omg! The audacity of it all (even though I don't understand the game!).

Thank you for posting this. I'm going to try it. I usually stick to Otome games but this looks interesting.

I just finished playing this game out of curiosity and I have to say that the developers have told a great story with this game. The characters all are fully fleshed out way beyond the whole disability thing. I ended up with the runner girl during my first play through. At first I was thinking "Oh she runs because she lost her legs and wants to show the world that she can be like everyone else." you know the same story we see in movies all the time. As I got deeper into her story line it became more apparent that her reason goes much deeper. I won't even use a spoiler tag to say what happens because I strongly feel that people should at least give this game or visual novel (whatever you want to call it) a try. If the story does draw you in like a good book then the characters surely will.

If you date the disabled girls you are playing this game wrong anyways:

"This is a MANLY picnic; no glasses, no napkins, JUST WHISKEY!"

lolwut? A school for disabled people? Sounds like someone's sick fetish.

While I'm almost a tiny bit interested in what an anime-style game's take on disability is (probably something "kawaii"), I'm not interested in playing a dating sim, or dating visual novel, or whatever. If there were a game in which a disabled main character had to play the role of a typical world-saving hero while being hampered by some significant physical disability though, that might be cool...
It's actually really tastefully done, the adult scenes can be turned completely off, and the developers had Doctors, nurses, and counselors help provide information on the forums. The disabilities are exactly what they are, and they don't define the characters or their personalities based on their disabilities. It's less of a sick fetish game(But really, what defines that sort of thing?) and more of a well thought out, and charming story. Not to be offensive to anyone or anything, but it's kind of hard to have an actual physical disability like blindness, missing limbs, or deafness and see that character realistically save the world from Russians, or aliens, or demons, but having a puzzle game, RPG or an adventure game of a similar concept would be something I'd be all for. Oh, and not everything anime-styled is "MOE MOE ★ KYUN~"

Oh hey, off-topic, but would you have any recommendations on that front? I haven't had much exposure to otome genre, and to be honest, the only game I can name off the top of my head is Yo-Jin-Bo...

The responses to this thread make me sad.
To be honest, I was expecting much worse. I certainly wasn't expecting such a flatly obvious delineation of opinions...let alone everyone who actually played it having such overwhelmingly positive things to say about it, and at least a small portion of people intrigued enough to be neutral.
