[Edit] I was going to leave it at that, but it occured to me that a lot of people won't know who Stranger is. He was the protagonist in the most recent Oddworld game, Stranger's Wrath.

His character arc is what drives the story, and his story is a very thrilling one. One of the most criminally underrated games in the last 5 years.

The Freeman is loved by all...or at least most. And just a side note, if your playing Half-life(the first one) you can use the console to go into third-person and take a look at Gordon. Although actually playnig like that can be difficult and it looks...odd to say the least.

Another favourite of mine is...Jack...I think his name was, from Bioshock. I suppose he does have moer character than most and I think you see his face once or twice but still. He's gota wrench, what's not to like?

wow, this went off-topic fast,it went from making fun of generic space marines to bassicly sayingthat gorden freeman is a man-god, whom will strike you down if you so much as think his games are dimonds coated in gold and silver.

accualy a littile known fact is he is accualy all the disembodied hands because, since the adam's family was cancled( i think) he had to find work to feed his disembodied mouth, and this is all that was avalible to a disembodied hand.

Nay, there are tests to be performed, induction rituals as well. If you said that right off the bat you could have fooled me and would have been one lucky guy, but alas, there is now a 6 month testing process and then a 2 year waiting period until you get your wish.
