Disney has a few gems like Phineaus and Ferd, and all the Marvel Stuff like Spiderman and Avengers. But I Agree its not like the old days where there were so many good shows it pained me to switch back to Cartoonnetwork. I fully recommend Phineus and Freb to any fan of animation.

Nick, well, its riding on the coattails of Spongebob and Avatar. And even Spongebob has lossed its touch.

Hopefully both of these will pull a Cartoonnetwork and do a 180 back to being cool.

Anyway, I agree. The Disney channel is dreadful. Luckily we still have, as you said, Cartoon Network, and like I said, the HUB. Well, one show on the HUB anyway, the rest are average or below.

Im guessing your reffering to MLP:FIM? Dan VS is another show on the Hub which is just as awesome if not better that gets away with alot of adult humour I suggest checking it out.

OT: Disney hasnt really been my thing ever so I don't care that it gone down hill, the only show I have fond memories of is Recess and that was canceled years ago.

Using the exact same god-awful CGI today that couldn't make a human look human if their life depended on it, that they used to make Toy Story in 1995 is good nowadays?

...You do realize it's animation right? They are not supposed to look exactly like normal humans, if you hate pixar that's fine but you really shouldn't try and bash them for not doing something they aren't trying to do

Oh, man... The 60s and the 90s were probably the greatest decades of animation! But, now... I remember first seeing those adds for FanBoy & Chum-Chum and Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, and I could tell instantly how bad they were. Same with The Problem Solverz. I actually did try to sit through the first episode to, like, try to identify with why such things might be made/watched or something, and kept finding myself going all "No! You're doing it wrong! That's not how you introduce a character! Augh, why is all this weird stuff happening!? That's not how you make a pun! What!? No! AUGH!!!"

The irony of it all is back then, childrens' shows could have guns, smoking, intense violence, blood, even very deep, meaningful material. Nowadays, all of that have been shoved away to make room for lots and lots of sex. What the heck!?

Yeah this is a farewell to the good times Disney and me had when the shows were actually good. That so Raven even Hannah Montanna. The shows that shown that both authority figures and kids can be trolls all while teaching kids the pressures of the world. Pressures like prejudice and bullying. Now shows on Disney seem to take a nose dive to pure ridiculous comedy that you no longer want to laugh but feel sorry for those who get the short end of the joke. And even some of the shows now seem so watered down because they try to be too family friendly. All I can say is at least the kids of this generation still have some decent shows on cartoon network.

I personally think Disney Channel shows have gone down in quality the second the first sitcom started, though when I say sitcom I mean the type of shows with a couple cheap looking sets and always are filmed from one side. I mean, what happened to shows like Even Stevens, Lizzy McGuire, The Famous Jet Jackson, So Weird?

I'm sorry that complaint is like saying "Simpsons sucks, I mean the people are all yellow." It's kind of missing the point of their movies. I'll give you a hint, it's the writing. Writing that has been praised by almost every critic for 11 of their 12 films. Of course this'll be the part where you tell me critical success doesn't mean anything because that's just a bunch of people's opinions and then likely give me your opinion as to why the writing is shit. You'll ignore the irony and I'll probably ignore you. Go team internet!

No this is the part were I tell you their writing is shit also.

All their films lack any emotional value because everything always works out in the best way for all the good people in the majority of their endings. there is no sense that any characters had any sort of struggle or challenge because you know no matter what happens Wall-e is gonna come back to life, or X person is not really injured etc etc.

Pixar needs to learn that a movie can have a happy ending without having everyone be super fantastic.

The Borrower Arrietty was a better fill then most Pixar films because it had a happy end yet it wasn't THE BEST end that could have happened.

Maybe proof read your own posts before criticizing my missing punctuation. But yeah, you missed the point, which was that you thinking it's shit doesn't make it so.

I never said my opinion was fact, or implied it.

When talking about the quality of games/movies/tv shows unless someone says something is fact it is an obvious opinion.

Using the "well dur hur hur you said something thus you must mean its fact that everyone else has to agree to" argument only makes you look like an ass, because everyone else knows that people dont mean is like that at all.
