DLC, or why isn't my game finished in the first place?

It is vitally important that you make a distinction. I see nothing wrong with post-release content being put on sale, nor do I see a problem with patches and updates being made to a previously-released game. No game is perfect on release, after all, and there's nothing wrong with a developer making more content for their game. I agree that there are some abuses of this, but you cannot condemn the whole of DLC because of that.

I can agree with the problems with the bugs. Hell. I refuse to buy any game for the PS3 on release day because I've been scorned too many times in the past (RDR, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Little Big Planet 2 for starters) Also means I'm paying £10 or so less in a few months. Or Pre-Owned.

DLC I just won't bother with in general. Just not worth it. I might try and get the Nier dlc tho
