No horseplay.

What does this have to do with anything? Its a slghtly cliched joke at the title of the film...

I DRINK YOUR MILKSHAKE! I DRINK IT UP!!!

Ahem, sorry. Anyway, I like to think that I can properly appreciate a more cerebral, artsy film. But I was pretty hard-pressed to really like There Will Be Blood. It wasn't terrible, but I don't think it's the masterpiece everybody says it is. I think something like The Departed, for instance, is a much better film.

Okay, I watched this film, and I didn't think it was the greatest film ever.
It was okay, nothing special. It was just kind of a cliched storyline, told in a artsy way.
-The music was awful though.

I would say something like 2001 was much better.

One thing that annoys me about TWBB is the people who liked it. They all seem to think anyone who didn't like it is a retard. Okay, you can be smart and not like an artsy film.
(Not directed at anyone in particular.)

that was a good review, could have used more depth though. I didn't hate the music, it made plainview seem a little insane or evil at certain points.

My intent with this review was not to spoil anything..
Yes, but you could have used any particular scene to give a little explination. Giving insight into an insignificant scene wont ruin the story for anyone. I can understand where you are coming from though.

I guess, but then again, most of the film is dialouge based, so I would be ruining the film to a greater degree.
