Do game trailers make you want to buy games?

Trailers spark interest in a game and then I look for gameplay videos. If it looks good enough I might buy it.

Haven't really looked at any trailers recently, but usually, no.

A trailer won't really do it for me, I usually just read the reviews from a few sites before making a choice.

Depends, If it's a game series I trust like AC, uncharted, inFamous, etc then yeah it will make me want. But mostly I like to see how it plays since it's game. I don't want to see a cinematic because I am not buying a movie, I'm buying a game so I want to see how well the actual game is (which is hopefully what they did the most work on) instead of how impressive the cutscences are. Any game can have nice looking cutscences but not every game has good gameplay.

usually trailers just bring me into awareness that the game is coming, nothing more.

A good GAMEPLAY trailer will make me interested. I'll then keep up with the news about it and whatnot and if it shapes to what they promised I'll buy it, if it doesn't then I'll rent it/not touch it at all(or go find a friend that did buy it and see).
