Do I just love crap?

We've all heard about how bad certain games, like Too Human and Spiderman: Web of Shadows, Ironman, and Force Unleashed are. We've all heard how great, or decent, certian games like Mass Effect and BioShock and Fallout 3 are.

So why, when I own games like Mass Effect, Bioshock, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, Mercenaries 2, Fable 2... have I spent the majority of my time playing games like Dynasty Warriors 6, Assasins Creed (I played the HELL out of that game), Spiderman: WoS (I did all the side quests, biatch), Force Unleashed (all the unlocks the bug I got lets me get, including both end costumes and the black light saber) and now, I find I really get into Ironman and I LOVE Too Human.

I mean, admittedly I did play a good bit of Mass Effect, Fallout 3, and BioShock, eventually I just put them down and never got back into them. I was never able to force myself to play more then the first mission in Dead Rising (got pissed when my camera ran out of batteries and I had no idea it'd do that), and playing through Fable 2 is like pulling teeth for me.

Do I just love crap?

I'm honestly concerned. At first I just chaulked it up to my ADD, but... I can SEE the flaws in these games, but I just don't -care- for some reason.

I...uh *whispers* really liked Iron Man too. It's like a guilty treat. I also enjoyed Assassin's Creed too

Assassin's Creed is a great game. Repedative as hell, but still a great game. I even got all the Templars (not the flags though, thats just sad). Aside from that though WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?!?1/1/1?!

Assassins Creed, Dynasty Warriors, and Gears of War 2 are all fine games.

The rest... not so much. Fallout 3 is (at the moment) severely overrated. The ending is a dick move and it doesn't let you carry on playing. Mass Effect has that pointless character thing where you can't erase previous careers too.

Or have the audacity to want to turn the camera to face something shooting at you. Or want to attack something which is punching you in the side of the head. Or don't want to sit through tedious cutscenes. Or want to fight more than 4 different types of enemy.

I was saying when it was unbearable, I could stand the rest, but not the fucking dying. and the fact that when you choose to use guns, there always seems to be a horde of bullet resistant enemies.

Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires is a greatly addictive game, you cant help not playing it once you start! lol

Assasins Creed

I love Assassin's Creed, as well as Mass Effect, and Fallout 3. It's not the games, it's personal preference. Don't worry about it.

Play whatever you have fun playing.

My girlfriend wont play my 360 or PS3 because she doesnt like games with good graphics.
Perfers playing things like Dwarf Fortress, Civilization and the good old Gameboy

i know that graphics aren't everything but...that's just silly. you can still have good games with good graphics.

Oh, im not saying they need to be good.
3 of my Top 5 greatest games are PS1 games and who can look past the original DOS Civilization, it was a classic
