I recently replaced my videocard and now almost all the games crash on start.
I did fresh windows and driver installs but it did not help. Can this be fixed or should I get a new videocard? What should I buy then?

I'm no expert, but apparently, chipsets aren't the best. I have a mobile intel chipset series 4 in my latop, and some games flat out don't run with it. That could be the issue, but I'm not sure.

The trouble started when I replaced the videocard. The games worked before then. Question is- can I fix this or do I need to get a different videocard?

Well, that's what I'm wondering. Could the chipset be conflicting with the current videocard in a way the old one wasn't? Again, no expert, it's just a suggestion.

That's a pretty old video card, and unlike the 9800 (and the 8800) the 9500 was never a very good GPU. It's quite possible it's just not powerful to run your games. What video card did you have before and did how well did those games run on it?
