have vaginas? Seriously, I mean from what you can see they look just like blue human women, but they reproduce in a completely different way. As such, can you even have sex with them in the normal way?

Yes asari have vaginas (or something very similar)in order to give birth, however as stated in the game they use the partner's genetic code to randomize the genetic code of their child, it's implied in the game that the "melding" of the asari's and the partner's nervous systems is how they obtain the genetic information. there fore the asari is always the one who get's pregnant and thus would have to have a vagina.
How it is established? Shepard sex scene look more like some touching and a pair of kiss. Why the asari should have a vagina? I mean, they could give birth from the back of their head. They are aliens that reproduce via "psichic" touching the mind of the other. They obviously want need it for sex. Aka no pleasure, no meaning for them to show it, no meaning to them to use it in a rapport.
And in any case, in mass effect 2 there was a discussion about a human, a turian and [the smart race] that the asari could be using their psichic power to make them self look good. It is not even said that they really look like that.

All the logical science and biology answers are well and good, but I'm saying yes because of what the Krogan says in Mass Effect 2:
"[W]ould be like...screwing Sha'ira." I highly doubt a Krogan--especially the type that this one is depicted as--would want anything to do with the Asari if they didn't have actual sexual parts. Krogan don't strike me as the "touchy-feely only" type of race. Plus, seeing as he uses the word 'screwing,' I think that seals the deal.
