I noticed, getting trolled once, that I was really angry, as was their aim.
I wanted VENGENCE! Like any other human being would.
Alas, I couldn't get back at this troll directly, so I went and trolled some other people who I thought deserved it, thus, my conscience settled.
I never felt bad about it, I just forgot about it and moved on.
I do not wish to do it again.

Does this happen to everyone?
And is trolling therefore an infectious spread of hate, powered by natural human reaction?

Though, this might be Naive, because this is only from personal experience.
Also, I know if they were completely like zombies trolls wouldn't stop being trolls, but I couldn't think of a better analogy.

Zombies don't enjoy their practice.

Zombies also don't exist, trolls do because people take stupid shit too seriously.

I doubt it, but then again the moment I suspect I'm being trolled I immediately stop paying any attention to the suspected troll.

WTF? Why is there two of these threads with the same author? They both have the same title?
But there posted 4 minutes apart?
I see what your doing this an experiment right?
Your using the other one as the control group for contrast.

When I played Runescape there where loads of scams to stealing money off people. I once was watching a guy who was obviously advertising a scam, and witnessed someone get scammed by him, react with anger, typing out a hate fueled cursing message at the guy who had already logged out with all his money, then he stood still for about thirty seconds (The player must have been coming to terms with loosing his money) and finally start shouting the same scam message he had fallen foul of, to trick other people into giving him money.

I was much amused.

Trolls should, like zombies, be set fire to. Remove the head or destroy the brain, though I think that counts as a minor injury for most of them.

Alternatively, ignore them is the best policy, they feed on a piece of your soul every time you reply to them.

Well seeing as if a zombie outbreak happened in real life it would be snuffed out within days with minimal casualties because zombies are rubbish predators, I doubt it.

It doesn't work that way. How do you even GET zombie trolls? They're already without intellect. So, does that make it a redundant term? I must do some research on this.

Some are more susceptible than others but yes trolling does spread from person to person like a disease. Proof: the WoW community, you see when you first start raiding everyone starts yelling and saying your crap. Then when you work past that point you start doing the SAME THING to people in the same situation.

Trolls belong on every forum IMO. Trolls are like spices on food; too much can ruin anything, but just a pinch can liven things up. Also, I enjoy a good troll who brings the lulz more than a bunch of stiffs who are Nazis when it comes to forum rules.

I'd say more like a parasite - long enough and the damage overtakes it. They will try and break you.
