Sometimes I'm even more polite online than I am in real life. Mainly because it gets on people's nerves if they are trying to get at me with more colourful arguements.

I'm much worse in real life. Online there is whole internet between me and all those pesky humans, i can't punch them, kick them, psychological warfare is nowhere near as effective and i don't get to see their tears... no fun in that. Plus while writing you get plenty of time to actually try and be 'polite'.

Yup fairly much.

Except for the sporting side of me... there isn't much room for that on the net.

I'm exactly the same. Except without the ability to google stuff I don't know to sound intelligent.

But i'm just as big a douchebag here as i am in real life. I think i'm actually worse in real life.

I'm 100% the same online and offline. This non-distinction actually is an important part of my - hmm, lets call it "self-philosophy" or smth like that. But that goes both ways - for example, people close to me offline call me "Lyx" too (though, i don't that often have visitors which i'd call close).

However, i may online seem more "frontal", "cold" and "aggressive" to other people, because voice and appearance are missing: My language tends to be very "direct" and "precise" - yet, if i offline say the very same words, i do it with a calm voice and relaxed body-expression - online, those signals are simply missing, even though how i feel doesn't change.

According to the G.I.F.T. everyone, no matter how normal, is an absolute monster on the internet.

I'm the same online as I am offline. Helpful, polite, sarcastic, and if I don't feel like talking, I won't talk. Stop telling me to say something just because I have a mic.

Heh, I'm pretty much the opposite of everyone here.

With the exception of forums I'm actually incredibly shy online, whereas I am remarkably outgoing offline.

I react to things the same way, like if someone called me a ****** i'd have a comeback, but whether or not i'd use it is a different matter, its all different, in real life if i don't know you i wont talk unless talked to, same online, but the more i know you the more open i become...

So in short yes, yes i do...

Im probly more of a nutter in real life because its easyer to judge what people think of you in person, and its an odd sense of humour Im 'blessed' with so Id probly offend alot of people.

Well I used to, and I still generally do. I don't abuse people or talk differently to how I do in real life.
Although sometimes me and my friends get together and troll, for trollings sake. We go on games and just have a laugh with the people online. It's less abusing people and more doing stupid things like team killing or have awkward conversations with eachother to make the others feel awkward.
Ah, here we have the emotionally and mentally scared youth of today, with nothing better to do than annoy people they dont know. Most of us play games with the hopes of succeeding and that is enough for us, but these people play for a different reason, to set up situations were they can type "U mad?" at people.

These "trolls" will be the first people killed during the zombie apocalypse for food for the rest of us, at which point we will whisper to their slow roasting and succulent smoked parts, "Yes, I am mad."
