Years from now, when I get a computer that can maintain decent framerates in Minecraft during lighting updates and while tree leaves decay I may be able to play games online. Until then and even after that, I will always buy games, first and foremost, to play with my- I mean, by myself.

Single Player makes up about 60% of the enjoyment for me.

However it is dependant on the type of game I'm playing.

BF2= 0% Single 100% Multi

Stronghold/Mount and Blade = 90% Single 10% Multi

i go for the multiplayer first actually. I might play the tutorial first, but that's about it.

90% of the time I will do single player first, I like completing the single player side of the game before going and playing multiplayer.

Never have. I enjoy annihilating my friend's stats and ranks first, then after a few months (probbably next year with the amount of games coming out, except for Skyrim and maybe Diablo 3) I will play the campaign. A friend and I have a bet for BF3, whoever has the better overall stats (rank, kill/death ratio, win/loss ratio, points per minutes, etc.)by the time Skyrim releases wins. Loser buys winner Skyrim. I guess you could say I'm pretty competitive when it comes to gaming.

I always play single-player first. I view multiplayer as a bonus to toy around with when I'm stuck in campaign and after I've beaten the game, nothing more.

Yes, unless it's a COD game. I only ever buy those for the multiplayer and didn't even bother to finish MW2 campaign mode.

Finish Modern Warfare 2's campaign. I felt guilty about not finishing it, so I actually did fairly recently and it was much better than I expected, it had some really fun and cool parts here and there, just don't expect any mind-blowing plot twists. I wish I could say the same about Bad Company 2's campaign though.

Singleplayer always comes first for me. Of course, there's been a noticeable decline of the quality of singleplayer lately, everybody's all excited about making the multiplayer aspect of a game the only selling point, who knows why.

I always play the story mode first. Then I disregard the multiplayer entirely.

The last game I played online multiplayer on was Fat Princess. Which was about two years ago.

I don't know why, but I really just don't ever feel like playing multiplayer. (With the exception of Minecraft and offline co-op modes.)

Actually, I don't own it anymore. I don't have any regrets, I spent plenty of fun hours on the online multiplayer and from what I've heard I probably wouldn't get that much of a kick out of it so I already got my money's worth out of that game.

Most of the time, I'll play through the single player before I even consider touching the multi-player. ut thats cause I don't really enjoy multiplayer.

almost always... completing Singleplayer i think should be a REQUIREMENT to unlock Multiplayer. it makes sure it's not just FILLED with total noobs... you get a feel for the game and it's weaponry and have an all around better time with it that way.

Even a game I picked up for the multiplayer, I will always finish every, or nearly every single player achievement before heading online. Its just how I function.

Single player. It gives me a feel for the game, if I don't like playing the single player I won't play the multi-player.
