Do you believe in aliens?

Do aliens exist? yes
Have they visited Earth? not sure, perhaps

Universe is far too vast & full of too many mysteries that we have yet to solve for me to believe that there couldn't be another form of life out there.

The problem humans have with this concept seems to be due to superiority and/or religious issues. We want to believe that we are the supreme beings & that there is some benevolent deity watching over us. I do not subscribe to either of those thoughts.

Also, who is to say that our idea of life and what it takes to sustain it is an universal truth?

On topic, yeah, I don't think we're alone in the universe, but I honestly don't think we'll see any real aliens in our time.

Aliens do exist.
The real issue is weather or not we will ever see intelligent life.
if the human race can live on forever and we keep advancing technology, we will eventually see them.
But in all likelihood they are so far away that the chances are too low...for now.

I do think it is highly likely that life has developed/will develop somewhere in the universe. I don't think however that we have been visited by aliens.

Let's presume that we are the technologically advanced species who discover primitive life on another planet. Would we hide ourselves, abduct people for experiments and leave messages in their crops, or would we land, walk our and introduce ourselves?

This. It is actually very improbable for aliens NOT to exist due to the incredibly size of the universe.

I think that the universe is simply too enormous for us to be the only intelligent life in it. Simple as that really.

This, when you try to fathom the numbers of the galaxies out there, it is difficult, then the number of stars within each of those, and then again the number of planets that have at least one area that could support life, even as we know it...

But this same massiveness means that I think we will never even know of their existence, AND they will never know of ours. So we are alone in the universe, it is like a big desert with a few hundred-thousand people, each person far enough from the next that to walk the distance there would kill them twice. Alone, but not the only ones.

Aliens can very well be real. But we dont have enough data to say.
Have they visited us? Doubtful, any alien advanced enough to do the trip wouldn't have any interest with us.
As for the video? Hoaxes most likely. Or stuff easily able to be done with basic vid-editing stuff.

I believe they exist. I wouldn't be all that surprised if they have secretly visited Earth somehow, and I also wouldn't be surprised if they simply recon'ed the planet and then stamped Humanity with a big 'ol' "Will destroy itself before they even begin to colonise their solar system. Ignore." stamp.

Considering the size of the universe and our own existence, it's more reasonable to assume they do exist than that they do not.
I do not, however, believe they'd visit some backwater planet like this though.

Life has a large probability that it exists in other forms in other places in the universe, however intelligent life is something different altogether and has a far smaller probability.

I do think that there's some likelihood of some form of alien life exists on other planets, but I suspect that most of them have barely even evolved eyes, let alone a brain intelligent enough to attempt space travel.
